"Ophelia, did you say?"
The Equine asked, looking utterly delighted.
"The Ophelia? Upon my word, I knew I had head of you! Good lord, my lady I have only dreamed of someday meeting you! Might I beg of you to see if you have any items to sell me sometime?"
He asked, kissing her hand gently, his upper body bent into a half bow while pocketing her money.
"I am always interested in the work of another Corvistowneian. Why only last week, a darling Caniine by the name of Ataxia sold me a lovely set of potions, they work wonders on the looks. Might you have somehting similar? Perhaps I could interest you in lunch sometime?"
He smiled hopefully.
((The bracelet is yours! Shall I just draw it in on Mephit? By the by, the bracelet will allow her to know exactly what it is that people are thinking about her. But only if it pretains to her and what they are thinking abobut her. She cannot read minds, but in this way, she can better guess and judge perceptions and possible actions. <3))

Ophelia did laugh aloud this time, her green eyes twinkling merrily. Well! To think she had a fan in this eccentric equine! That was quite refreshing, she had to admit! Even if the two little ones at her feet had suddenly gone still Ophelia didn't bother to further acknowledge them. It might've seemed like bad parenting, but she knew by they'd both tensed. Different reasons each, but Ophelia could guess them both.
Cecilia was jealous, and shocked to see her father -whom she considered very unappealing on all fronts- to be receiving such attention from anyone that wasn't asking for a second head or something of the like. He was asking for some concoctions, yes...but such enthusiasm? Cecilia huffed softly, absolutely glowering as she sunk down a little further.
Mephitisia, however, was pleasantly shocked and yet also proved quite right in her previous beliefs: Cauter had recognized Ophelia. It also brought the scientist new work and possibly some minor chances for her or Xylia experiments to be put out into the open. That would be interesting.
"That very one! It's such a pleasure, Cauter; I hadn't realized I had a fan in you!" Or at all, really. "And, y'know, I believe I might have something. How about lunch in, I'd say, a week's time? I'm sure I can have something for you by that time."
(Yes please. ^^ Also, (if you haven't already inked on her rank or anything) you can go ahead and wait until she's a 10 to finish her up. If you have, however, then go ahead and finish her once you've gotten the bracelet on<3 Mephit's going to enjoy this >_>)

Souris gingerly climbed in, carefully turning the delicate nose up, at the same time lifting tail away from the dust, and paused. Not her usual graceful movement, but haughty, and practical, at the same time. The action, combined with her distinctive colouring, would serve notice to the lesser Cards and creatures that a Yarrow Garden female was in the building while giving her time to gather her poise as she assessed the Corvistown shopkeep. Male, naturellement. A somewhat odd color combination, maroon brown and pink battling together to give him a surprisingly dull appearance. The chains and piercings, gaudy gold, didn't help either. He was a 10, which should rank her, but he happened to be a Club, and she a Spade. Interesting. She considered the differences in Suit and Rank carefully, before deliberately bestowing a far sweeter smile in his general direction than she'd have ordinarily. The Clubs typically resented the lower regard bestowed upon them, and she needed every leverage she could get, in order to make a purchase. She had few points to offer. Prehaps feminine wile could win her what she desired, or the knowledge she needed to acquire what she desired...

Cauter bent to kiss her hand again, delicately, a grin firmly in place. So many wonderful dwellers of his own realm seeking him out lately! How wonderful indeed! Especially one such as Ophelia...
"Lunch would be a magnificent pleasure, my dear lady, send word of what time will be good for you, I'll make sure to clear out my shoppe by then. We'll meet in the sandwich shoppe in the square...my treat, of course."
He smiled as he waved her and her children off, unable to contain the delight. It was so nice to see eager young masters willing to share their secrets with his shoppe, it helped him to learn...and to in a small way...replicate...
He had no sooner returned to the register however, than the door opened once more.
And what a beauty did come through the door, Cauter could not hep but stare in wonder. A Gardens dweller...here? He quickly trotted over to her.
"Good afternoon, my dear lady. Is there anything I can help you with today?"

Loreta had one hell of a time opening the door. It would have been so much easier, she assumed if she didn't have a murderous migraine and headache it would have been easier. That and if she had a proper set of legs to stand on. That aside she was giving the spectators quite a show until she finally fell forwards. She hit the floor with an unceremonious clatter and squawk. Some days just didn't work out smoothly. In an amazing display of grace the heron managed to right herself and brush off her feathers like nothing ever happened. She looked around the store. She could hardly be embarrassed when she had a mission to make peace with Rocky. She needed to get him something interesting. What would a chemical Corvistowne find interesting? Her eyes widened when she caught sight of a leg. Well. It wasn't a set of wings but it was still something he could experiment on, right? The bird hopped over the counter with a bit of effort and grinned. She could careless if she was interrupting anything. "Pardon me, sir, but how much is that leg there?"

Stepping into the shop, Lucio made sure the tuck his wings in nice and tight against his body. It would be rude for him to go batting people about with them..and quite expensive if he happend to break an item. Strolling along the glass cases, he peerd at the inventory the shoppe had for sell. There were quite a few that caught his eye. There was a shoulder plate that would compliment his agaility nicely. And that set of steel bracers to protect the hands..but at what cost dureing hte night? Intersting, but just not what he was looking for. Then there was that lovely peice of tail armour. That indeed caught his eye, and he paused to consider it for some time before moveing on. Mabey another day he thought, looking back over his shoulder to glance it over one last time. Ah-ha! Now that spear..that was more along the lines of what he was looking for. Stepping around the other browsing cards, he made his way over to its table to look it over. Although naturally proficient, polearms just never really sparked his fancy. But what a -nice- spear it was..and the saphires were hearts to boot. If the shopkeep dident have or couldent procure what he was after, perhaps he would give a second thought to the spear after all. Looking up and gazeing over the shop, Lucio noticed the keep was quite busy with a few customers, so after catching the shopkeeps eye for a second and giveing a brief nod to let him know he would like to talk, he settled back to wait his turn.

The beautiful rodent seemed unwilling to respond to him further, though her coy looks showed that she was thinking about answering him and that she was dubiously beginning to shop. He grinned and flipped his eyebrows at her while holding up one finger to indicate just one minute. He then turned to his doorway, where more people were entering.
A very large bird...Torquey, from the looks of it, hobbled in. No, fell in, looked about for a few seconds, and as a second customer entered, began to shout over to him.
"Madam, please...if you need help you should learn to wait in line." He thought with dismay, that the pretty mouse maid must even now be rolling her eyes in disgust. "The item to which you are referring is quite expensive, 100p, actually. I should read its descriptor card before you decide whether or not to pursue it."
Somewhat annoyed, Cauter left it at that, turning to the interesting Sorgaireian whose eyes had just lit up upon finding something they liked.
"Can I be of any assistance, good sir?" He asked, a rather genuine smile in place...he liked this realm...such good people...normally. His friend Ofral, the Barkeep down at Furgus's would snort at him.

Looking up, Lucio noticed he was being addressed.
"Ah, yes. I was just admiring this spear. Of course my suite gives me profitiency with weapons..but I have an affinity for blades, if you know what I mean? I was hoping you might have, or could acquire a couple of long daggers or stilettos. I hope to achieve my Bipedal form soon, and one never knows when a quick knife will come in handy, hm? I really don’t mean to be any trouble though. If it is too much of a hassle, I can save up for the spear. It -is- truly lovely..and to never miss a mark? But, if you happen to know where you can get a nice pair of twin or matched daggers or stilettos, I really would be thankful. And..just out of curiosity, do you happen to have any further ideas about the steel bracers..or more specifically, why they should not be worn at night?”

"Manners? PSWH. I lost those in grade school, Sir." She was too hung over and had too much of a headache to give a damn about what the shopkeeper thought of her. And now he was ignoring her because she hadn't "waited in line." How very cute. He probably just wanted to flirt with the Yarrow Gardens mouse.
"Expensive or not, I'm probably going to buy it," She muttered to herself. An expensive gift for a horrible mistake. A fine trade. Actually it was probably lacking, and considering what had happened she should probably apologize with something else. Leg jokes and such just didn't seem right. Ahahaha.
The heron eyed the other customer. "Manners or not. If you feel like reading the card, be my guest, but you're probably going to get 100 from me regardless. It's a gift for someone, and I highly doubt he'll care what it does. I'll just wait until you're finished with your other customer or you kick me out of your shop."

Hadyn had been lurking at the fringes of the shop for some time, watching with a mild case of nausea as the drama unfolded. He really hated people, especially crowds--large groups tended to bring out the worst in people, he'd noticed. The shop itself was an eclectic affair, but he could see why it had been recommended. The merchandise was unique, some of it extremely enigmatic and compelling. His fingers itched to examine some of the potions further, eyes lingering on the dried husk of a tarantula, before a glint of green caught his attention. The shoulder plate was crafted out of well-beaten steel, almost black, and embedded with emeralds. He picked it up, running a paw over smooth metal absently as he read the tag attached. It might actually be beneficial to his training. Lacking the innate ability with weapons that most Hearts possessed, any way of even slightly countering his disadvantage would be of immense help. He settled down to wait for when the shopkeeper would be free.
