A twisted, rickety looking building spirals out of the midst of the colorful Bazaar. The bottom level has the doors thrown open wide, the cobbles leading partially into the landing. A sign proclaiming wondrous prices hangs in the window, gaudy tapestries dangle in the dusty windows. A few people breeze in and out of the shop...some looking shiftier than others.
The walls are lined with odd merchandise, thick, glutenous liquids in delightfully shaped bottles. Dusty skulls, gem-encrusted knick-knacks, bits and pieces of armor, old swords and assorted weaponry. The wall behind the counter is mounted with cages filled with interesting creatures. A tall Biped suddenly rushes out of the back, slamming heavy hands onto the counter and giving you a voracious grin."Good afternoon, customers! What can I offer you today? Anything that can be purchased can be found right here, even if you don't think what you're looking for is something I can sell, I promise you that I'll have it within a week! Take a look around, find something that sparks your fancy, who knows perhaps everything you've ever wanted is somewhere on these shelves. Take a look, take a look!"The Corvistowneian then pivots and races to another customer, hooves banging heavily on the hardwood flooring. Why don't you see if anything is to your liking?-------------------------------------------------------------------

Before you are many wonderful things for sale, some with a description, some without. You can always ask the shopkeeper about what it is you're purchasing before you get it; in fact that's recommended. This being a second-hand shoppe, you never know quite what it is you'll find...or in what condition...------------------------------------------------------------- Dealers pay for the items in points they have gained that are either unassigned, or are from the creature making the purchase. You cannot pay with points from one creature and half from another unless that SD would have a good reason to go in halvsies on the item. Anything priced from 5-50 points is considered normal and most wouldn't put up too much of a fuss over it; 55-100+ is considered pricey, meaning the item in question might do incredible things...but it doesn't mean you can't try to barter with the shopkeep. He prides himself on being a reasonable man. Again, shoppers beware, this is a sleazy, second-hand shop. Some items may backfire, have undesirable side-effects, do what they say they will with overzealous potency, or simply work as they say they will. Let the buyer beware stands true in this shoppe. Though you may rest assured that everything does something unless otherwise specified. Especially if it is pricey, you can rest assured that it will preform spectacularly...though whether in the way you wanted it to or not is an entirely different story... (Unless you specify that you want an item to kill your SD, you can be certain that it won't...though it may alter them...) ------------------------------------------------------------------- Items Currently for sale:Xylus's Bracers: These leather bracers once belonged t a great hunter, he never missed a shot... He swore by these wonderful bracers, saying that they improved his vision and made him become more in tune with the prey he was hunting. The wearer is cautioned against keeping them on too long, however... Being in tune with what you wish to kill can have disastrous effects on the mind... Item: 008 Price: 50pts Amber Brooch: What a beautiful piece of jewelry! Hard to believe that the little maid who gave it to me was so eager to be rid of it, honestly. Though she did say something about a family curse…but what a ridiculous story. I’ve checked it for spells myself, how preposterous. Item: 010 Price: 80pts Sapphire Brooch: Oh how wonderful, sure to bring out the eyes of a lovely lady. This beautiful creation, fashioned of silver and a rather nice sapphire would be quite the addition to any form of evening attire, wouldn’t you say? The ends are a bit pointy though, and it tingles a bit to pick up, I’d be careful not to prick yourself with it, but just between you and me…if you like keeping your figure trim…this is the item for you! Item: 011 Price: 40pts Silver Mirror: This gorgeous mirror is just crying out to be hung on someone’s wall. That’s real silver too, ladies…I’m sure it’ll spruce up your bedroom in no time at all! The person who sold it to me told me to make sure to tell you to look into it carefully though… You may see more than just your reflection in there. Item: 014 Price: 80pts Sapphire Spear: A beautifully well-crafted steel spear, inlaid with heart shaped sapphires. It’s said that this weapon never misses its mark, not sure if I’m willing to guarantee that of course, but I will advise you never to use it on a family member…no matter what the reason… Item: 016 Price: 70pts Mayle’s Tarantula: Don’t be afraid, ladies. This poor thing’s been dead for years, though its husk is perfectly preserved. The spider was said to have some especially intriguing properties while alive…I wonder if anything of them remains? This item has nine opportunities for you to do things: eight legs and on body. Each has the possibility of doing something different. Make sure you mark down when you use something and how much is left, and yes; you may trade bits of it away.Item: 017 Price: 90pts Ruby Studded Tail Armor: This beautiful piece of armor is said to assist the wearer in battle…in more ways than one. The rubies don’t hurt either, nice for show, nice to go! Heh heh. Item: 018 Price: 50pts Jar of Teeth: This jar is filled with teeth from various creatures, all of whom died in the heat of battle. An odd little piece, but perhaps you’ll find a use for it, hmm? There are seven usable teeth in the jar…all of which can be used for various things…though you must figure them out for yourself. Make sure you mark down when you use one and how many are left, and yes; you may trade bits of it away.Item: 019 Price: 100pts -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pets Currently for sale:ID: MR002 Name: -- Gender: Female Species: Mome Rath Price: 40pts *Notes: She has two large spines protruding from her back. Magical ability: She can curl into a ball and roll quickly about the ground. The spines stick out from the side and the creature will aim to cut into ankles and achillies tendons. Watch this one as if she doesn't like her owner, she is liable to chase them too...she is capable of considerable damage.

Pravus walked into the store. He had been told if there was anything he wanted, he could probably find it here as well as something he hadn't come for. His eyes wandered but a few things with interesting descriptions on the plagues beneath had caught his eye imparticular. He tilted his head, reading over each item and checking out each companion carefully before going up to the shopkeep. "Hi there. . " Pravus said in a rather droll voice. "I was wondering if you could tell me more about the Spine of a Jabberwocky. It's rather vague. . . I'm particularly interested in if it's permanent and what sort of abilities it helps you to learn."He looked around scoping out the other things he wanted, pointing them out to the shopkeep. "The Gold bracelet and the ST003 IDed Slithey. If I were to purchase all three what sort of deal could you give me?"Of course.. . he couldn't afford any of them now, but he wanted to maybe get an idea of price so he could begin to save. The freshly healing scars from his encounter with another shoppe keep stood in vivid relief all over his pelt, he had learned to pay for his merchandise. Now he just had to get good at haggling and steal in another way >.>

The shopkeeper turned his head and gave an incredibly broad grin to the newcomer.
"Welcome! Welcome! How are you finding yourself?"
He looked over the promising customer, a Highlander with rich parents to foot the bill, no doubt. He grinned, wide mouth stretching almost back to his ears.
"Ah, the Jabberwocky spine." He looked pleased. "Well, not much is known about it, my good sir. The last man who attempted to try it on was a thief...we aren't sure if that had something to do with....well, what became of him. Some items will do that if you lift them, you know." He flashed another wide grin. "Let's just leave it at the fact that you will be gaining some admirable powers, and an intriguing new look."
He smiled as the child entered the bartering stance.
"For all three? Well, I suppose I could let it all go for...say, 165?"

Pravus hummed at the decided lack of information regarding the spine. The man was clearly skipping over facts that he wished not to be known. But still, something about it called to Pravus and intrigued him enough that he truly wished to own it.
"Lift it? Why. . . what ever would make you say that?" A bit of a venomous grin crossed the youths face. "I sincerely hope you're not attempting to imply anything my good man. Otherwise I might just be a little offended."
He smirked before blinking quickly at the shoppe keeps proposal. Pravus held back a rude laugh before responding. "Ah but all three together cost 165, that isn't a deal at all." He tilted his head a little, wondering where to start with the bargaining.
"I'd say if I got all three I should get a markedly better price. Say in the range of . . . 135?" Smile.
((ooc: sorry for Pravus being a haggling ass XD *whaps him*))

The shopkeep's grin widened to a point where it was almost grotesque as he took in further the scars on the young Feline's hide. What a brash little skit...perhaps he deserved the discount after all...
"Heheh...offend you, good sir? I wouldn't dream of it! Now then, 135? I'm afraid that's bit beneath me, I would settle for 155, however..."
He crossed his arms over his chest, long face pulling a smug look at the child, what an odd little one he was...the more Cauter thought about it...the less he began to think that this boy had parents...much less rich ones...
The chains around his face tinkled softly as the shopkeep snickered again, waiting to hear the little cat's next move.

Had the door been closed, there might have been some sort of warning for the entrance of the strange little deer as she wandered into the shop, the chains that bound her hooves jingling brightly, much like those on the shopkeeper's face. She ignored both shopkeeper and Highlander kitten, instead wandering over to where various pieces of merchandice were being kept. Glassy eyes looked everything over, stopping to stare in fascination at some of the odder items, before settling onto the cheapest of the offerings. "A little bell..." she murmured to herself, reaching out as best she could to tap it with one forehoof, her head tilted to the side to listen for the resulting sound - or lack of it, if the sign nearby was to be believed. Unless the stand that was holding it was in danger. But would that count as a wearer? Helen stared at the bell, fascinated by its simplicity when surrounded by such gaudy and powerful items, like the Jabberwocky spine that the Highlander was bartering for. She didn't much like it - she knew far too much about failed experiments from the occasional glimpse she got of her father. Thus it was likely that something that powerful could be disasterous if something ever went wrong with it. That didn't, however, stop her from continuing to examine the silver bell from all angles, as best she could. It was such a small magic, that even if it should go wrong, then nothing bad should happen, right...? The fact that some apparently rather important bartering was going on over her head apparently never quite occured to her...

(edited: I've earned enough to go after the spine first X3)
Pravus thought for a couple minutes before nodding slowly, a slight sinking feeling in his chest. It was going to break him to afford even part of what he wanted. But. . he could do it and thankfully without help from Lleur.
"Deal. I don't have it all right now. But I can give you 85 for the spine now and come back later with the other 70 for the slithey and bracelet."
Pravus stood firm, hoping to every dark god he knew that the shopkeep would take the deal. A spine full of power. . .even with side-effects. He was sure that when he became an adult he would be powerful enough to perhaps forgo the unpleasant backfires.

Cauter shrugged his bony shoulders, a careless smile crossing his face. "However you like, master Pravus, when the money hits my hand, the item leaves this shop. I'll just go and box this up for you, shall I?"
Smiling widely, the equine snatched the small, thin, spinal column of of the shelf and trotted off with it toward the cash register.
On his way there, however, he was sidetracked by the sudden appearance of a startlingly colorful mixed Realm eying the tiny belly on one of the lower shelves.
"Ah, my dear, pardon the pun...interested, are we?"
His lips pulled back in his most winning smile as he searched her face for an answer.
