The little marten was staring at the sparrow in shock as he proceeded to blame her for the whole incident. Then her anger bristled. It just seemed so unfair. Surely she had not been standing that close behind her. Even if it may have been slightly her fault, there was still more blame to place on him. "Maybe if you hadn't provoked her in the first place..." she blurted, cautiously approaching the Queen.
Somehow the way she looked at her upset her. Yes, it upset her greatly, but she was not sure what such a look meant for her. Despite it all, she was still determined to help. She needed a doctor, and she would get one. It just so happened that Aima was a medical Corvistownian, although she did not usually focus on this exact area.
Far more fearfully than she'd planned, she made a point of not looking at the sparrow as she declared, "I'm a doctor!"

(( OOC: XD I would like to apologize for my character, this is all him. ))
The sparrow sent the pine martin a death glare. Of course he was more focused on the pregnant woman than anything else. At least she had agreed to go and see a doctor.
And then the little pine martin made the declaration.
His feathers puffed up, he hadn't been upset over the jab, but now... did the Pine martin expect trust after someone they randomly tripped a Queen of Clubs on the street. And what was with that doodad on her forehead? And what was that tube coming out of her back?
No. He had a better idea.
"I was thinking of taking her to a specialist. The doctor my brother went to is right around the corner." He paused to point in the direction of a little establishment on the corner of the street. It was by some grace of a miracle, or dumb luck really, that the doctor's place was right there. He turned to look at the Corvie, a small smile on his face, "And you, ma'dam, can come along with us and help me pay for the Miss's proper treatment."

Zuberi wasn't exactly about to be picky about who she saw at the moment, but she couldn't help but give a soft groan of protest with what the Pine Marten said. If there was ever a region to not want to have doctor you up, that would probably be a Corvie. Goodness knows they had less of a justice system there than the did at the Midori, and that was just -scary- "I- ahh... I'm not comfortable with that." Zuberi stated quite plainly, looking around with a great deal of uncertainty. She wasn't about to be allowed to be treated in the middle of the street anyhow. People were still standing about watching the spectacle.
"Can we just.. get out of the streets please?" The woman was near pleading as she used the sparrow's arm as a support as she favored one of her skinned up legs.

((Haha, oh it's fine. I love it. XD I apologize for my character now and for anything she may yet do, because it seems she and Malchiah do not get along.))
Aima could not be insulted that the winged-lady did not want her being the doctor, she knew what most people thought of Corvistownians. It wasn't their fault, really. She would always be willing to see a Corvie doctor, but she wasn't the one who needed one. The martin nodded her head in acceptance.
Just because she did not take insult from the winged-lady, however, did not mean she did not take insult from the sparrow. She might have glared back at him if she was willing to give him that sort of victory. Instead she gave him an appreciative smile accompanied by a sweet tone as she purposely misunderstood him. "Oh, I understand. I've enough money even if you don't. I'll gladly help."
Worry and embarrassment at not having moved her sooner overcame her as she looked back to the Queen, and she couldn't help scowling at the sparrow in turn. "Rather than thinking," which she didn't think he was doing much of anyway, "you ought to be doing. People are staring..."

(( Permission to manhandle granted <3 ))
Malc had half a mind to kick the damn Corvie in the face. Instead he gave her a cordial smile. And allowed the Queen to lean on him. Actually, things would probably be easier if he just picked up and carried her to the doctor.
He didn't wait for permission, and he didn't stop if the woman gave any protest. He activated his magical ability and swept up the woman in his arms. He honestly didn't care if people were staring. If they said something that would have been a completely different story. "Don't just stand there and gather dust," He said to the Corvie as he walked in the direction of the doctor's office. Bitch was going to be paying most of the bill since she made that nice little comment. "People can stare all they want, it's not like their opinion matters."
People didn't ask questions and simply moved out of his way. The trip to the doctor's office was uneventful. He carefully opened the door and made his way in.
The receptionist looked more than a little surprised as she watched the sparrow set the woman down in a chair.
Moderate Magical Ability: When activated, he can carry up to 70 lbs of extra weight for 24 hours straight, one day per week. He is left feeling tired and somewhat drained for the 24 hours following that period.

Oh Suits, they were going to start fighting right here in the street, weren't they? And what was all this about the damn bill? Hell, -she'd- pay it if it'd stop them from bickering; it wasn't as if she was poor or anything! Zuberi had half a mind to make this point known when very suddenly she was swooped up off her feet, giving a soft 'meep!' of surprise as she found herself in the sparrow's arms. She immediately flushed, staring up at the stern-faced man wide eyed as he began to stride with purpose down the street.
Er... well... that was all fine and good. She just wanted to get to the doctor and have this entire ordeal taken care of. The fluttering in her belly had stopped for a moment; little did she know, the swaying motion of being carried had actually settled the little monster in her belly, but all she could think was that the thing was -dying- inside of her.
She readjusted her clothing when she was sat down in the chair, too surprised by what the man had done to really say anything about being -manhandled- without permission. Well, at least it was for a good cause. One might even consider him gallant for it. Huh.
The pains that she'd felt when she fell were ebbing, leaving her only with scrapes and bruises. The thing that made her worried though... was the baby. Her hands fluttered over her gravid belly, as if unsure of what to make of it. Almost apologetically, she looked around, catching the Corvistownian's gaze for a moment before looking to the ground. Surely the girl hadn't done it on purpose.... knocking her down, that is.
((I'm loving the banter between those two XD))

By walking off, Aima was unable to reply to the sparrow's rather rude comment. Not being able to defend herself against him irked her greatly, though she couldn't help but think she would get more than enough opportunities to fire away her own curt comments and replies. It would serve him right, upsetting the Queen and everything. She followed closely behind them, not wanting to get lost.
When they got there she wasn't about to give the Selkie a break. She wasted no time, and waved her paw in the direction of the receptionist in an almost condescending manner. "You're the one who knows the doctor... go fetch him."
Aima then gave the Queen all her attention. No matter how she might blame the sparrow for causing this whole mess, she knew she still ought to apologize. How could she not to someone like her? A Queen and magnificent. She saw the Queen's hands touch her stomach and felt a pang. "I'm so so sorry. I truly hadn't meant to cause you to trip."

Malc still had half a mind to kick the damn Corvie as she spoke. Actually it wold have been better if he tore her face off. Shoving that urge down he turned to the receptionist, who had already walked around from the desk to inspect what had just walked into the office.
"My goodness what happened?" She said in distress as she came over to inspect the Queen. The injuries were as clear as day, and it was hard to miss the fact that the woman was pregnant.
"The Corvie tripped her," Malc commented, "And Miss Zuberi landed on her face. We were wondering if the doctor could see her as an emergency visit?"
The receptionist looked a little shocked before nodding and hurrying off to fetch the doctor. Only a moment later the Esterberry Corvie mix popped out of the backroom looking fairly confused. He glanced at the three people in the waiting room with his brow held high. He walked up to Zuberi and offered his hand, "Hello, my Dear, I'm Doctor Charles. Do you think you can walk to the examination room with me, or do you want me to bring my supplies out here?"
He glanced over at the sparrow and pine martin with a frown that clearly stated they were both idiots.
Malch found himself far more disgruntled than he normally would be. Stupid Pine Martin bitch. Stupid mouth. Stupid everything. Why couldn't things go easily?
(( Would anyone be opposed to me dragging one of my other characters into this? It would either be Ezekiel or Rosewood. ))

Zuberi nodded softly, her lips curling in an attempt at a smile at the Corvie, though it really didn't fully make it into one. "Oh, I know. This has all just turned into one horrible mess." The woman said with a frown, giving a small sigh as she gingerly rubbed her stomach. Well, the stomach itself didn't hurt. It was the sensation inside it that was unnerving. The'd not felt this before.
It was clear what the doctor saw in the peanut gallery as he evaluated the scene. Yes... they were all being absolutely ridiculous. "Oh no! I can make it to a back room, I assure you. I don't know either of dese folk well enough to allow dem to be privy to the spectacle of me being poked and prodded." She flashed a look that was mildly apologetic at the two of them, giving a soft shrug.
"And please... you two... Behave. For the love of the four Suits, we're in a doctor's office." Allowing the doctor to help her to her feet, she followed the man to the examination room.
(And SURE. Bring em in XD)

((Have at it. XD I look forward to meeting one of them.))
Aima blocked out that racket that was coming from the Selkie's mouth. It interfered with her thinking. Besides, she had someone better to attend to and was too busy being extremely grateful that the Queen did not seem mad at her or did not seem to be planning to do anything horrifying to her. Her gratefulness slowly melted away, however, when she learned she was going into the examination room alone. It wasn't that fact, exactly, that disturbed her; it was being left alone with the cretin who had started the whole mess.
Shocked caused her to completely miss everything the Queen said afterwards, but the little pine marten was smart! She knew better than to cause an uproar in a doctor's office! ...or did she? It was probably something she'd have to remind herself of for that common sense to kick in, and sadly her brain was not directed that way at the moment.
Her eyes slowly turned to the sparrow. Oh how she disliked him. Normally she was accepting and happy to meet everyone she ran into. Not with him, oh no, this one was just asking for someone to put him in his place. Then it occurred to her she had no idea what his name was. It wasn't that she wanted to know it, more that she did not want to be ignorant. Talking was probably better than slowly letting her displeasure build until it broke in some other, less acceptable, way. "Since I'm to be burdened with you, I might as well know the name of my tormentor."
