Maeve's fall slammed her into the sloping, slimy walls of what felt like a damp underground tunnel. No matter how hard she scrabbled and struck out, she tumbled down at a fairly high velocity. It almost feels like a...pipe? Sloping down and away, she passed out from a sudden shock of cold and dreary, unpleasant pain.
Bailee's utter horror of being kicked down that hole didn't stop with a fall. She actually reached the bottom...or, more accurately, her tail did, snapping cleanly and painfully in two before she seemed to slide straight through the floor and beyond. A cold shock seemed to overtake her body and she slipped into unconsciousness.
Both awoke in a bolted room; the room was cold and empty of anything resembling comfort. The room itself has no objects in it, looks damp and somewhat stale, and has a slight mold problem, if that smell means what it seems to. The door appears to be missing its hinges and can easily be kicked in. There are no windows and the entire place smells oddly of the outdoors.

Bailee wanted to scream, but no sound escaped her in her terror. She was falling. Someone had kicked her down the hole. Why? What had she done to any of them to deserve that? Had the Queen of Hearts saw fit to kill her? Had the other Club given up on her? She didn't have much longer to contemplate her fate. When her tail snapped in half, she felt like the world was going to end. Well logically it was. Death came when you hit the ground, but everything went so very cold when she slipped into nothingness. Pain. It was familiar, and she hated it. But it meant that she was alive right? Unless death hurt afterwards. Oh suits her tail was so broken. A watery eyed whimper escaped her as she turned around to tend to her tail. It was the only thing that was broken, by some grace of god. And with what little supplies she had she couldn't particularly mend it. It was probably going to kink if she didn't tend to it soon... wonderful. Wait. She wasn't dead. That meant she was somewhere. For a moment the canine perked as she looked around. A person! Things! Well.... actually no things... just a person. A person who didn't look... proper? "Hello?"

((Just a note, Kari. Her tail may look odd, but I did roll and her Card disguise held very well. She looks nothing like a mythical Rabbit right now...more like some kind of Mouse/Dog thing with one Hell of a freaky tail. ) A quick viewing of the room will show that there's something odd on the walls...some kind of thick, pulsing plant matter, though thankfully not much of it. There appears to be two people plastered to the wall! The vines wrapping into the cement and back around their bodies, and odd-looking Bat with a skull for a face and a rather miserable looking Acacia are stuck tight!
Acacia came to about 10 minutes ago and feels horribly feeble, though memory serves her correctly in that she was trying to get into a clothing shoppe that had a Yarrow model. People ran off before she could get in to ask about the lovely Yarrow Horse on all the posters, and when she turned to see where they'd gone, she'd been greeted by a rushing bout of mist. Something grabbed her and she'd passed out at once. Maks had been inspecting an old mirror he had found, before hearing an odd, whispering noise emanate from it. Next thing, he knew, he was waking up here and rather uncomfortable... Not a good place to be!

The world dropped out from beneath her feet, and Maeve fell; the others were a blur of color swallowed up by darkness, and she was alone. She struck something hard, dazed for a moment before scrambling for purchase as she continued to slide, but the walls were cold, slimy, and her claws just slipped and skittered off metal and sludge. A pipe? It bore her swiftly down and way. And then suddenly cold, pain-- Nothing.Maeve came back to herself slowly, body aching and mind torpid. The smell of mold and damp, and the physical presence of cold seeping into her bones. She forced her eyes open, because there was no other option. The scenery didn‘t seem to align; she blinked, stubbornly focusing her vision to take in her surroundings: A barren room, no windows. A door. A canine--Corvie, medical from the look of it, her brain sluggishly supplied--peering over at her. A second glance around the room, and it looked as if the walls were--pulsing. Or was that her skull? “What--” she croaked, forcing herself upright.

Bright blue eyes slowly opened and came into focus, only to close again due to the dull pain he now felt all over his body. "Where am I...?" Maks thought to himself. Daring to open his lids again, he peered into the dimly lit room, soon realizing he couldn't actually move, and that he was upright. In an attempt to move his large wings, Maks found that they were bound. Looking down at himself, he could see his bindings were tight, as well as constantly shifting, as if they had a mind of their own. He suddenly remembered he'd been looking at a mirror...so how had he gotten here? Hearing a couple of voices, he looked up again, finally taking notice of two other cards in the room. One looked to be a Corvie canine; the other a Josiggy mix. Neither looked to be in good condition. Unsure of which Card spoke the "Hello?" he heard, he replied to no one in particular. "Hello? Who's there?"The Yarrow groundhog woke with a groan, immediately shaking her head to try and clear it. This proved to be a bad idea, since it only made her head pound even more. When her short legs tried to move and met resistance, a sort of resistance that moved itself, she began to panic. Looking around frantically, she saw other Cards in the same room. A rather large looking Corvie, and a much smaller Josiggy. With a glance to her right, she saw they had another Card in their midst, and this one had a skull for a face! He was also in the same predicament as herself, being bound to the wall as well by what now looked like some sort of vine. Certainly not any plant she'd ever seen before... In an attempt to rouse any one of the three in the room, she screeched out, "Hello? HELLO?!" Acacia's patience was wearing thin, and she wanted off of this wall NOW.

Bailee almost wagged her tail when the Josiggy got up. She ready herself for a reply, only to hear other replies after the initial question of what. The dog looked around the room to find the source of the noise.
She had to choke back the yelp of surprise when she caught sight of the bat with a skull for a face. "Oh Suits," she grumbled as she edged closer to the scene. There were people plastered to the wall. Except it didn't seem to be a normal wall at all. Bother. Maybe she was dead, or somehow she was dropped into some horror novel.
And of course she didn't have anything to cut anyone down. "We'll get you down in a minute, don't worry uh... people." She eyed the Jossigy for a moment. "You wouldn't happen to have a pair of gardening sheers would you? I'm afraid I let all of my usual tools somewhere bothersome, and I don't even have a measly scalpel on my person."

Despite the fact that her body felt stubbornly uncooperative, Maeve struggled to her feet to assess her current predicament. Everything ached, and the world tilted ominously for a moment before settling back on its axis; she took a moment to check herself over for injury before turning her attention to the room (a holding cell, more like).
The canine did not look particularly threatening--and looked as if she might even be injured--and Maeve highly doubted the woman was in any way responsible for Maeve’s own current predicament. The canine was just another victim.
And then she noticed what was on the wall, and her hackles raised. Pulsing plants, vines wrapped sinuously around its victims, constricting and binding, and doing White Rabbit knows what else. It reminded her of the corpses they had found and the vines hiding, burrowed inside--was this how it started?
“I’ll get them down,” she stated, moving towards the pair. After a moment of consideration, Maeve decided to free the shrieking one first, since the poor creature seemed to have awakened and was rapidly approaching hysteria. She swung her bladed tail expertly to sever the vines, and with the help of the canine pulled the female free. Maeve did the same for the male, spending a silent moment in contemplation over his rather shocking mutation.
“Are you alright?” she asked, looking them over visually and checking for injuries.
Maeve kept half an eye on the plants while she did this, remembering the rapid mobility demonstrated in her first encounter.

Acacia just kept on wriggling and writhing as hard as she could, even though she knew she couldn't get out on her own. In her growing hysteria, she didn't notice the smaller Card approaching her and her unknown companion. She flinched a bit when she noticed it's scythe-like tail, and looked away and hoped for her end to come as swiftly as possible.
When she instead fell to the ground and away from the wall, she let out a rather loud "AHH!" as she hit the floor, rather ungracefully to boot. Scurrying up to balance on her hind legs and regain some sort of composure in front of the three strangers, she ran her small paws through her fur to try and shake some of the dirt and dust off. "I'm fine. Just fine, thank you. I..." Acacia trailed off a bit, realizing that maaaybe, just possibly, she should be a bit more courteous to the Cards that helped her. "I'm sorry. I...I guess I got a bit carried away!" she said with some nervous laughter. "I do thank you very much for helping me down from there. Can I ask who you all are though, and how you got here? I wish I knew how I'd gotten here myself..."
----
Maks just kind of rolled his eyes at the whole situation his unexpected partner was creating out of nothing. Seeing that she was being cut down from her restraints, he could only expect the same treatment in due time. Once he was on solid ground once more, he stretched out his large wings, and lightly shook his fur. Looking at the Josiggy when she spoke, he answered her much more calmly than the Yarrow had. "I do seem to be alright, thanks." Looking at the brightly colored groundhog when she spoke again, he did suppose an introduction was in order. "My name is Maks, and I'm afraid I don't know how I got here either. How about you?" he said, nodding in the direction of the Josiggy and the Corvie.

Oh what a nice person! This was so much better than dealing with the Queen of Hearts! The woman was actually willing to help, and didn't hesitate to do so! "Thank you!"
Bailee did her best to help preventing anyone from falling flat on their face, as she couldn't do much else. She felt a little bad when the Yarrow toppled anyway, but that was the woman's own fault. She seemed more than a little flustered. Perhaps she was a privileged little girl who had been out for a stroll? Heaven knows they always reacted badly to tough situations.
The man seemed to be quite capable, however strange he was. How could he function with a skull for a face? The canine did her best not to stare, there was a good deal of that going on. A Tiny Jossigy, a pretty Yarrow girl and a Hisstor (that was the realm with the weird bone fetish right?) in the room together with her. This was certainly more interesting than before.
"Nice to meet you all. I'm Bailee," she said as she tried to multitask and take in a few scents (16). Maybe she'd get something other than plant, but highly unlikely. "I was kicked down a hole and fell 30 feet and some how ended up here. Probably should get out of here all things considered.... also I'm sorry I can't attend to any injuries at the moment, didn't grab the first aide kit during the fall." Her broken tail hung at an awkward angle as she spoke.
She padded over to the door, more than ready to kick it down.

Maeve was pleasantly surprised that the groundhog had actually apologized for her behavior--to be fair, it wasn’t completely unreasonable for someone to have a tiny little meltdown after waking up in a strange place bound by pulsing plant matter--but Maeve had never particularly cared for high-strung people. She much preferred--Maks; such an fascinating mutation--calm acceptance of the situation.
“Maeve,” she supplied, “The floor collapsed and I fell--a great distance.” She shivered, remembering her own helplessness as she plummeted through darkness, adding quietly and almost absently, “I was rather surprised to wake at all.”
The canine headed over to investigate the door, and Maeve followed. It was surprisingly in rather poor condition, and was missing several hinges. She eyed her beefy companion: it would probably be an easy thing for the woman to knock the door down.
"Will you do the honors?" she asked, gesturing towards the door.
