Forge sulked. He was good at doing that when he didn't get his way.
Rosemary chuckled, shaking her head from side to side. Her ears flicked back as the woman spoke. Playing coy. It was always fun to deal with that. Coming up with creative ways to go about the game. Of course, Rosemary wasn't feeling particularly creative today.
She hermed for a mo0ment. "Well. I was thinking that I could do some things with my tongue that would make you scream my name in the dead of night, but if you're not up for that... I'm sure we could just play a board game or something."
Was that too forward? She didn't particularly care. The other woman's tail had already indicated she was excited for a reason. So hopefully the utterly honest comment wouldn't put a dampener on her cheer. Of course if it did the canine would just wander into the kitchen to fix a snack of some sort.

Tegan's eyes went wide then blinked a few times in surprise at the woman's sudden forwardness. It was certainly what she'd been hoping for, she just wasn't expecting the offer to just be... thrown out there like that. It made her a touch skeptical about the other woman's attention to subtlety. It played a rather important role in sex, at least in Tegan's mind it did. Well, she did have a rather impressive tongue, watching the way it moved and the piercing made that apparent... hrmm...
Ah well. Never know until you try, right?
"I think we can go without the board game this evening," she said lightheartedly with a smile, "Besides, there are a few things I could show you." I am part Bat, after all.
~~~
Tegan had no idea what time it was when she woke up. She yawned and stretched and decided she preferred to curl up closer to the warm body next to her rather than get up. This would be the last day she saw this woman before she headed off again anyway. Might as well enjoy-- oh, wait. No. Tegan made an annoyed grunt. She had to leave as soon as possible. She wanted to get past the Lowlands before dark. She couldn't linger. She'd probably lost enough precious time as it was. It was a lot of ground to cover in such a little time, especially on foot. Begrudgingly, she got up, shook off and walked off the bed.
Rosemary had curled up happily, unwilling to wake up when the morning like peaked through the tiny crack of the curtains. That had been a nice night. One that she could savor. And one that she wasn't going to forget so easily.
The only thing that made her move was the sudden cold air. Tegan had apparently decided to get up, which caused Rosemary to twitch a bit. Her eyes flew open to watch the woman get off the bed. Awww. No more cuddle time and down to business.
"Breakfast before we leave?" Rosemary asked as she rolled off of the bed. She prodded at Forge who she summoned promptly when he responded. The sword in human form mutter something incoherent before wandering to the kitchen. "And where are you going again? I can probably take you there the shortest route possible. I have this wonderful ability that allows me to never lose my way."
Tegan's head whipped around to give Rosemary a confused look. 'We'? Who the hell said anything about 'we'? Where did she get the idea she was coming with? Tegan ignored the weapon as it walked past her into the kitchen. Okay, so she was just asking permission to go with in an odd way? Tegan tilted her head.
"That is a very useful ability and route, I'll admit, but why are you suddenly so interested in going with me?" she looked back at Rosemary. In the corner, a ball of blue fur uncurled itself to stretch and yawn. Siku then trotted across the kitchen to her master and sniffed at her. She smelled funny. It was smells that usually accompanied the noises from earlier in the night. She gave an affectionate nip on Tegan's elbow then went over to sniff at what the man was doing. He was going things in the kitchen which meant food. which potentially meant he was going to drop something.
Rosemary gave a small shrug. Should she give the woman a proper explanation? Did she care to? Might as well not burn her bridges....
"I'm a bard. And I travel. There are very few realms I haven't been able to go to, such as the Bog and the Glacier. I would never want to go there alone, and honestly you provide me with the perfect excuse to adventure to a place I've never been. I'm all for danger but I'd much rather face it with someone else. Golfram was one of the most terrifying places I've ever been alone." She gave the woman a very pleading look. She wanted to go with her. She wanted to find adventure and tell amazing stories!
But of course she could go some other time. The thought was a little bleak. "Of course if you don't want my company I would be more than happy to lead you out of the Wood. Though I could give you the option of a short cut.... which you can't take alone. But it'll cut some time off your trip."
Tegan considered the other Club for a moment. Should she let her tag along? She was a Queen with a Weapon, not to mention good company. Also, quite frankly, if she wanted to harm Tegan in some way, she would have done it already. there was also a loneliness from traveling alone she was not about to admit.
"I see nothing wrong with this. Come with me as far as you want, though I can't guarantee your safety or our companionship after we cross the border into the Glacier. I'd very much enjoy your company, though."
Siku went up on her two back legs, front legs propping her up against the counter the man stood at, and continued to sniff. What was he making? Would he give her some? She looked up at his face and sneezed to get his attention.
"Siku, no," Tegan said at the bander, herding her away from Forge.
Rosemary broke out into a grin. "That's all I could ask for. I've always wanted to go to the Glacier but I've never been able to work up the nerve to go past the border. This might be the chance of a life time though."
Her tail wagged slightly. Adventure. Oh adventure! And maybe Tegan was a wonderful story waiting to happen? The thought almost made her skip.
Forge was purposely ignoring the bander. He had never honestly seen one so well behaved, but no matter how cute it was it had sharp pointy teeth. And to top it off he didn't know if Banders ate the same sort of food everyone else did. What if bacon killed it?
He was grateful when it was shooed away. "I hope you don't mind bacon and pancakes. It's an odd combination but Rosemary doesn't keep this little place well stocked."
Siku made an annoyed grunt at her master, but obeyed. She sat several feet away from the man cooking, but did not move, watching the counter attentively for anything that might drop. Tegan circled back around to be a little closer to Rosemary again.
"Well then, this should prove to be fun. Here I was thinking I'd have to make the entire trek all my myself." she gave Rosemary a smile that had an undertone of something a little more lascivious. That expression dropped to one of feigned politeness when she considered the Weapon.
"That is fine. I really only expect you to be the cook Rosemary claims you to be," she answered him. She was starting to get a little more comfortable around these two and got it into her head that Forge was a servant of sorts. Really. Wasn't that what Weapons were good for?
Rosemary chuckled. Oh, yes, there would be quite a few stories to tell after all. If she was a cat she would have purred.
The weapon stopped in mid-motion as she glanced down at the woman. Bitch. That was the only word that came to mind. Rosemary shot him a warning glance. He sighed as he turned back to flipping the pancakes and bacon.
He was done fairly quickly. He put the usual toppings on Rosemary's pancake. Walnuts, syrup, butter and bacon as topping. He offered the canine-squirrel the plate, which she took happily in her mouth and headed back towards the bedroom. Sadly this place had no dining room to speak of.
He glanced at the other woman. "What would you like on your pancakes if anything?"
Be polite. He had to repeat to himself. Otherwise he'd piss off Rosemary and he really didn't want to do that. Not today.
Tegan raised an eyebrow as the man looked down at her with a look of anger. Really now. that was not a very good servant. Still, he kept in line with little more than a look from Rosemary. Good boy.
She watched what he automatically put on Rosemary's pancakes. That actually looked quite good.
"I think I'll have the same thing, but bacon on the side," she nodded her head. Behind her, Siku went to follow Rosemary. She was going into that room with some food that smelled good. She paused at the doorway and assessed the situation. As she understood it: food on the Floor belong to her. Food Up High belonged to the Cards. This food was not Up High, but not on the Floor, either. did that make it hers? She ventured forward, sniffing curiously.
"Do you have any fruit?"
