Rosemary couldn't help but smirk. She was quite flattered, to say the least. After all she had only accidentally managed to come across the swords. And it had taken her only a little longer to figure out that he had a personality of her own.
Her ears perked up at the question. Forge with animal and bipedal forms? "To be honest I don't think the thought ever crossed either of our minds. I figured he was fine just being a pretty human, and he just figured it was easier since it's not like he has a marking on his chest. Plus... he thinks he's all the more attractive and exotic in his human form, the ego maniac he is." She rolled her eyes.
Low blow, Rose. Low blow.
"Is it common for Hearts to have weapons with multiple forms?" She tilted her head in curiosity. She had only really met Pale who was just human. And she would rather hear it from the horse's mouth so to speak rather than books.

Mmmm roses. The smell was annoying her less now that she was taking more interest in this person.
"I know of one Weapon who has all three forms. My mother says she knows what other forms her Weapon has and says she takes those forms in her mind, but the Weapon doesn't really bother with them in the outside world. I don't know if Rhi counts. From what I heard she got her other forms before she became a Weapon. That's all I really know of. The ability itself it supposed to be pretty rare, so I don't really have much to go by," she shrugged, "It might be fun to experiment with, though. See if a Card-made sentient sword can have all its forms." Her stubby tail flicked quickly from side to side.

Rosemary hermed her tail flopping it a bit of a wag as she listened. That was an absolutely fantastic point. And she couldn't help but wonder if Forge thought of himself as anything in particular. He didn't really have any particular ticks like hissing like a cat or something.
This was an interesting thing.
"Well I suppose we'll just have to look into it. It's certainly an interesting idea to look into. I'm curious now what Forge could possibly be...." She hermed yet again. "I don't think I could even venture a guess as to what he could possibly be."
Awww. That's sweet of you to lie for me. I'm glad you actually care.
She snorted. "It must have been pretty hard for you growing up in the court of Hearts. My dad used to tell me plenty of stories about his elitist Aunt."

Tegan gave little more thought to the other woman's weapon and simple nodded. The conversation was turning to be back onto her. She found his much more favorable.
"It's been an interesting experience," she shrugged, "My brother got most of the hard times, though, being born first. I think people learned to be more afraid of Mother than adhere to their ridiculous sense of Heart Pride and give me a hard time." She paused. Mother. The very thought of that woman right now made her blood boil. she no longer found this change in subject favorable.
"But enough about that cesspool. What's it like, having someone else live inside your mind? Sounds awfully invasive and with a fantastic lack of privacy."

Apparently she really hated the Court of Hearts. Huh. Maybe it as because she grew up there? Or was it something else. Of course Rosemary was curious but she wouldn't push the issue. She was having too much fun to push Tegan away. Might as well play along.
"It's sure as hell awkward at times when he wants to hit on girls. For whatever reason he wants to get into a Yarrow's pants. It drive me nuts." She rolled her eyes. "And his sarcasm and snark. Sometimes I can't help but reply out loud when he makes a particularly nasty one. And when he first decided to... show up in my head he urged me on to get drunk. He's quite the... companion."
I'm not that bad. Gee.
"He strongly disagrees with that statement."
Just let me out so I can tell her to her face.
"He also wants to talk to you face to face."
Seriously. This is getting annoying even for you.
"And he doesn't like the fact that I'm being a snot. So. He's great. Really. He's save my ass more than once. It's just annoying sometime."

Tegan felt her hopes drop a little. Was it awkward because he embarrassed her when he did so, or because she didn't like women? She really hoped it was the former. It had just barely gotten dark, after all. It really wasn't a good idea for Tegan at least to leave the hut until the sun rose (what little could be seen of it through the forest floor), so she had the entire night with this lovely specimen.
"Heh, my older brother Hadrian has the same goal. He has this weird thing for Yarrows. You'd think that would have been stomped out of him from the first violent rejection." At the rest of it, she just smiled in amusement, "And you can just keep him there, in your mind, in your full control? Just like a Heart?" Maybe having a weapon wasn't so bad. She tilted her head, "What would he have to say to me? If it's hitting on me, he can stay in there. I'm not interested in men."

Oh the burn.
Rosemary choked back a giggle. "He just wanted to say he wasn't as bad as I'm making him. But now he feels a bit embarrassed for hitting on you earlier. I think he's going to remain "away" for the most part."
The wolf mix's tail curled around herself as she continued to speak, "Full control is a matter of opinion. I don't know if Heart weapons can interject what they're thinking into the middle of their summoner's thought process, but Forge certainly can. I haven't run into any problems otherwise... yet anyway. He's a bag full of surprises."
That was putting it lightly. He always seemed to keep her on her toes. "For example, I taught him how to cook once, and now he can out do me in the kitchen every time. From making tea to making a four course meal."

"That's more than fine. I'm more fond of the present company, anyway," she said with a smirk. Then she tilted her head, "I've heard Mom complain to Dad once or twice about her Weapon 'running her damn fool mouth about business that doesn't concern her', so I assume so?" She laughed at the last bit.
"I could see how that could be annoying, but overall rather convenient. Beside, he's probably just better because he has hands," she commented in a playful manner. She rolled lazily onto her back and stared at the ceiling. How late was it? There was no clock anywhere. While the mattress was decent and the company was better than any she'd been with since she'd left the court, the house itself was very boring and Tegan was not tired. Well, there was always groping Rosemary with her mind. Yummy.

Well that would good to know. She wasn't the only one who had to deal with someone randomly interjecting comments in her head. The wolf squirrel watched as the other woman flopped on her back. She dished out a rather nice compliment to boot.
A grin twitched on Rosemary's face as she decided to take advantage of the situation. She was the hostess and had to make the guest as comfortable as possible after all. She slid up next to the woman, Rosemary's face not too far away from Tegan's. "Thank you for the compliment, I'm thrilled that you think so highly of me even though we just met."
Her tail twitched a bit as she continued to stare down at the other Card. "So is there anything else you would like to talk about, or would you prefer some other form of entertainment. Personally I'm getting slightly bored talking about myself."

Tegan looked over at Rosemary as she slid closer, wondering what that was all about. She smirked.
"Well, I would say that in comparison, it isn't saying much," she paused, letting the dig at the Weapon sink in for just a second, "but I do actually find myself liking you, so I wouldn't want to imply belittling of any form." Ohh, the other woman was close. She liked that. Her tail twitched, the little stub of a tail flopping to one side with the tiniest movement. Her smirk became a little wider as she looked back at the other woman with half-lidded eyes.
"Oh? You did say there wasn't much to do in this little hut. What did you have in mind for entertainment?"
