Peaches giggled for a few moments as she started to collect the dishes. Once they were cleaned and put in their proper places she turned back to finish packing the small bagged lunch they were going to have. Getting creative she took a bit of the French Toast, eggs with cheddar and some of the left over bacon and created a pair of sandwiches. Once that was all done she bagged the little creations after heating them and wrapping them in foil.
Sometimes she really wished she had an ability to control fire. It would probably be fantastic for heating up meals. Peaches rolled her eyes at the thought. Wow she was being rather homemakerish today.
Now what?
"So you'll be coming with me to the palace then, or are we going to go on a different sort of outing?" she asked with a catlike tilt of her head.

Leaning forward on his elbows, Hatter watched Peaches work with the same attention she usually used as he made tea. They made it look so easy...and then he'd get distracted by something and burn the toast. Ah well. It really was for the best that he stuck to tea instead of meals.
When Peaches returned to the table, Hatter slid to his feet and stretched thoughtfully. The palace... He hadn't been to any of the Courts in a long while, and she did seem as if she needed to be back. Not telling anyone and the like. He slid forward and placed a playful kiss to her ear.
"Well, if you need to return to the palace then I suppose that's where we should go... That's not to say we can't make an outing out of it, yeah?" He grinned cheerfully, traveling was quite a bit of fun in Hatter's opinion. Especially traveling with pleasant company.

She snorted at the playful kiss. Well fine, she could play that game. Leaning forward enough to bump into him she licked his ear. Pulling back with a smirk she waved the bagged lunch in her hand. "Well, since the Court of Hearts is so far away we'll have to make a few stop overs. I'm sure we can make good time an interesting company on the way there."
This was probably a really bad idea. Number one, Hatter was a Joker. Number two Hatter was himself. Those were two valid reasons that this plan was very bad, or at least not sane. Peaches really hadn't been thinking clearly and all, but that was a lame excuse. Plus she couldn't say no now, it was too late. Much too late.
What was the point of regretting things when you had so much life to live. With a brush of her hair the woman grabbed her gloves and slipped them on. "Let's have a fun outing then!"

Hatter laughed warmly at the lick, batting affectionately at her although nothing connected. If it had, he would've used the leverage to pull her into his arms in an instant. She felt nice there, and for the time being he was so full of worry that he didn't honestly want to let her go anytime soon.
"Of course. Plenty of stops are fine by me; I can always find something interesting to do during a trip."
The Hatter continued to grin, oblivious to her thoughts. He was just happy to be going somewhere, let alone somewhere with Peaches. He would behave himself, though, for Peaches's sake and wouldn't dream of causing even the smallest hints of mischief while there. If anything could keep him in line, it was concern about those around him. Such as his beloved Ceiling Cat.
"Wonderful!" He slid to his feet, adjusted his top hat and motioned toward the door in a playfully gentlemanly manner. "Shall we be off now?"
