“The name is Elyse D'Allesio. It is a pleasure to meet you, I am sure.” She sat down on her hind quarters, gave a small bow of her head, and continued to watch them her long tail waving side to side slowly in her excitement. She tilted her head as if contemplating what they had asked.
Invisible street? Walter street? Were they sure they knew where they wanted to go? It did not seem like it, not that it really mattered to the small mouse one way or the other. “I do not pay attention to the street signs to much. Over there is the flower shop” She pointed to her left to indicate the direction of the flowers, “and back there a bit is my Papa’s gallery-shop” She pointed behind her, turning her head to look behind her in the process.
Turning back to face them, she smiled at them.

Okay. Children were special these days. Loreta stared blankly for a moment, before looking back to the feline with antlers. She wanted to say something but she couldn't think of proper words. Oh wait. She found them.
"I'm Lore, I'm desperately lost and I seem to be picking up weirdos," said the heron. She honestly didn't give a wit what they thought about her. She was just another person to be lost on the street. She seemed to be picking up some weird ones recently. Could be a hell of a lot worse though.
"Unfortunately we're not going to a flower shop, and I don't have a message for your papa, so I don't think we're going their either." She shrugged, "That's my job. I'm a messenger and I can't find where my delivery is." Lord. She sounded pathetic.

"Torquehelm, the creepy place that I come from? You're pretty sheltered if you don't know your regions."
"Well... father doesn't let me go to other realms. He would be upset even to find out I come to Capital City. I suppose he assumes I stay in Avington."
“The name is Elyse D'Allesio. It is a pleasure to meet you, I am sure.”
Dilis turned back to the mouse and smiled. "Hello Elyse, my name is Dilis. My friend is right, it's called Walter Street. I must have got it wrong in my confusion..."
"Don't you worry though Loreta, between us, we're sure to find it. How difficult could it really be?" She knew it could take some time but she had time to kill, she wasn't in a rush. She just felt bad because she wanted Loreta to be able to do her job.
"Let's just keep going and with some luck, we'll find it." Dilis started to walk down the street in front of her; she was on a mission and she intended to finish it.

They must have miss understood her. She supposed it was something that adults did a lot when they interacted with her, though her Papa usually understood her just fine.
“No silly, I did not think you were going to go to the flower shop or my Papa’s shop – though he would probably like to meet you.” She giggled friendly. “I just want to help!” She countered to what she felt was their dismissal. “I just do not really know the different roads.” She explained.
She really wanted to spend time with these two, they seemed like very interesting people. “If there are three of us then we are more likely to find wot you are looking for right? This invisible street? . . . Where would that be located at, anyway?” She said the last bit more quietly as if she was thinking aloud more then thinking to herself.

Loreta wasn't sure what to say, not in the least bit. She was surrounded by "special" people. Well, one had been locked in a box for her entire life and the other was a little girl. Special was the nice word that Lore used when she sober. If she were drunk this entire situation would have been completely different.
"It was supposed to be over there," Loreta pointed with her wings to a crossroad. "It wasn't there. The number house I was supposed to find and the street. I'm looking for a magic shop owned by someone named... Gale."
The least useful name in the world. She had been trying to find the shop for how long? An hour? And now she had two people in tow. It was just so very weird. "Freakin' hell. Why was I put on this delivery anyway?" The heron muttered incoherently.

Dilis was thrilled she had met Lore and Elyse, under the circumstances she really hadn't wanted to spend the day alone. And now, they were on an "adventure" together and that was just fun.
"Well, if it's supposed to be over there, it would only make sense we look around that general area. This doesn't seem so hopeless, don't fret Lore."
She didn't have a habit of panicking when she was lost and she wasn't about to start now. All they could do is keep going forward and eventually they would end up where they needed to be. It usually always worked out in the end.
"Lets continue forward and we'll find our way eventually. The majority of the magic shops are over here anyway so most likely it's here.

Hatter was people watching. This was nothing new for him, especially not in the Capital. So many people of different shapes and sizes and persuasions. With an observant eye, one was never bored. Especially not Hatter. However, among the din of voices and moving bodies, Hatter found something that was unique to the typical crowd: a familiar voice. Loreta's to be specific and she seemed just a little disgruntled with something. A smile cocked lazily onto his features as he lifted to his feet, pursuing the sound of her voice until he could at last hear her words and the words of her company clearly. From the sounds of it they were looking for something...something that not one of their three seemed to know the location of. His voice would reach their attention first, full of quiet laughter. "Exactly where it isn't, o'course!" As he spoke he strolled around the corner and swept off his top hat for Loreta's benefit. "G'day Lore!" His gaze swept over the rest. "And co?" Not once did he seem to still, his movements were fluid and consistent...dizzying even as he bounced from person to person. "Lose something, did ya? Or, perhaps, you never found it?"Hatter was in a grand mood. Which was both quite obvious and undeniably hard to explain. It simply was and most that were acquainted with him had long ago given up trying to explain it.

This was the most amount of people that Loreta had ever dealt with outside of the office. She had half a mind just to fly off. It would be easier that way, wouldn't it? The only thing that stopped her was the fact that she liked Hatter.
"A good day is a matter of opinion. I'm horribly lost and I seem to be picking up people to add to my party. It's like some fantasy novel I read to my sisters when they were little, I swear." The heron shook her head. That was probably one of the first times she mentioned family out loud. Oh well, none the wiser. "Either way. Do you know where Walter street is? Or do you know about a magic shop that's owned by Gale?"
Someone was going to save the day and it wasn't going to be Loreta. She was just going to watch until she actually had to deliver the message.

"Exactly where it isn't, o'course!"
Dilis had been spooked by the voice, she had been too deep in thought about not wanting to fail Lore. Her head was hard so she felt she needed to see this to the end. She hadn't even noticed the stranger when he walked up beside them.
"Oh-oh my! Where did you come from? Exactly where it isn't? But if it's where it is then doesn't that mean that it isn't where it is? That makes no sense at all! If it isn't where it is, then where is it? If you know, do tell us."
She looked him up and down, he seemed nice enough.. he just didn't seem to have much sense. He seemed to know Lore though, but there was something about him that made Dilis' head hurt. He talked in riddles in foolishness and she couldn't make heads or tails of what he just said.

The mouse turned to look over her shoulder, doing an action that was very similar to that of the cute and innocent way puppies do when something just happened behind them. Giving him wide, curios eyes, she took in the new stranger feeling a small wave of shyness.
He was in his human form, something that no one she knew had yet. He seemed like a fun sort of fellow, his cloths of a fun nature and his eyes two different colors. Overcoming the small amount of shyness that she seemed to have suffered, she gave him a large smile. “Hi!” she greeted him in a chirpy voice.
The newcomer seemed to know the one-legged heron. “You are going to help us?” she asked, turning so that she was facing the male. She was not really all that affected by the man’s strange way of speaking, she actually kind of liked the riddles.
