She followed them down the street and to the building that for all intents and purposes seemed to be the one she was looking for. She was pretty amazed that she had never seen this street nor the buildings on it. Well that was why it was called ‘invisible’ was it not? she chided her self.
Entering the small shop she took in the insides. Jewelry boxes, weapons, plants, thingy-ma-bobs, knick knacks . . . Plants! Easily distracted she made her way over to where the various arrangement of plants were, being careful not to knock anything over.
She loved plants. Mommy-Mnem was teaching her all about them. What they did, how to use them, each plant’s uses and information, and anything else that pertained to plants. Running her eyes over them, admiring and trying to name them, she probably visibly shook with the restraint not to reach out and touch them.
She only vaguely heard Mr. Gale call out in response to something or other Miss. Loreta had said.
((The jump was perfect, actually <3))

Dilis had watched Hatter lift Lore into the air and honestly... she was jealous. She wanted Hatter to pay attention to her like that but, she was just an avington so she sort of understood.
"Magic? Well, I don't know. I suppose so, I haven't seen much magic to be honest." Dilis muttered. She was too distracted by Hatter and Lore's whisperings to really put thought into her answer.
On the bright side, I may be able to find something for father in here...
While Lore spoke with Mr. Gale about the delivery, Dilis perused the merchandised. She was sorting through this and that, she spotted a music box. When you opened it, it played "Claire De Lune"... Dilis was in love. She couldn't afford it now but she knew that if she did odd jobs around the house, father might be inclined to get it for her; she was after all, a daddy's girl.

Oblivious to poor Dilis's jealousy, Hatter let out a low bark of laughter to Loreta's commentary. Her coworkers seemed to give her such hell, he almost felt bad for her. What a hard life she had and yet she remained so...fascinating. Bitter, yes, but not as morose as her fellow Torques. Once entering the shop, he set the avian back down and looked around the shop eagerly.
He loved places like this, all full of interesting trinkets and the like!
Gale would recognize him, surely, since he'd stopped in here many times to buy gifts or just to browse. Not to mention on those occassions where he sold some of his own inventions to the eccentric magic-lover. Twisting about he glanced at the others, pleased to find them both engulfed in the tore already.
So Elyse liked plants, that was a surprise, but Dilis proved his original beliefs correctly by picking up a music box. She definitely was a very proper lady. Lifting his hat off his head, he toyed with it lightly as he chirped up once more.
"Hah! Knew you two would find something of interest in here!" He tilted his head onto Elyse. "You like plants, do you Elyse?" And Dilis, she didn't know much of Magic? That was quite sad! "It's quite fascinating -magic, that is- you should really look into it a bit more; it seems like it'd suit you. Magic and Avington's both sport such an air of mystery."

Loreta hopped down the isle and waited at the front desk. The other girls were enjoying themselves, and she could see everyone from here. That worked. She struggled for a minute to get the package out of her bag as well as her clip board. She really needed hands.
The eagle in his biped form slipped out of the the back room, a smile on his beak. He pause for a moment when he spotted the Hatter. Oh! The messenger brought company then? Good company indeed. "Why my lovely messenger! You seem to have brought customers with you as well," he said to Loreta as she handed him the clip board. The bird hastily signed the board and handed it back to her.
"Hatter! It's a pleasure to see you. Would you and your friends like a discount?" The man clapped his hands together. He was so happy to see people in his store. "Would you like to see the new tea set I got in yesterday? It's supposed to have magical properties. Haven't the slightest idea what it does yet." Well he did, he just wasn't going to say it in mixed company.
Lore made herself comfortable as she perched on the counter top. Gale was too busy to notice. She watched in amusement. Perhaps everyone could get a discount on something, eh? "Hey sir, do you have any magic jewelry? Something that would accent my eyes?" Loreta said jokingly.
"Well actually, I may have something. Not many magical properties though. It's ashame. I'll go in the back and get it for you if you like. And I'll get the teapot as well!" The man hummed as she slipped into the back room and quickly came out. "If there's anything else you're interested in let me know!"
Talk about energetic.

“Yes!” She nearly squeaked from repressed excitement to Hatter's question, oblivious to everything else going on in the shop. Her tail waved happily. “Though like might not be the word you are looking for, because I LOVE plants!” She reached out a paw, halting it before it she actually touched it. She had learnt from her many adventures at her mom’s not to touch just any plant she came across.
Not paying attention if he had turned his attention away from her or not she continued content to speak to herself if he had. “My Mommy-Mnem is teaching me all about plants. I am going to become a healer. Which one is this one, do you think?” She asked aloud, though she did not really expect an answer, as she examined one of the plants on the end.
She would have to inform Mommy-Mnem of her discovery, thanks to Harret of course, she should be able to explain these plants to her even if no one else did. Maybe Mommy-Mnem would even buy her one! That would be lovely.

“Well, perhaps I will give it a chance. I wouldn’t mind someone teaching me the ways… of magic, of course.” Dilis smiled, hoping Hatter would offer but knowing he probably wouldn’t. She was terribly proper so if he didn’t understand, she wouldn’t bring it up again. It would embarrass her too much, she was taught not to talk of such things. She really was interested, but she hadn’t really been taught about magic. She used to watch the other children practicing, but was not able to do it herself.
No matter, she wanted to learn about magic and learn she would. “Excuse me, Shopkeep; I wonder if you had anything related to magic for beginners?” She turned to the one they called Gale as he was walking back in the room, hoping he would say yes. She really had wanted that music box more, but this was for knowledge and so she would wait for her pretty.

Gale's friendly greeting was echoed by Hatter's own, a cheerful bark of laugher following it.
"Gale! It's good to see you, friend! A discount for the ladies would be delightful, I'll take the teapot full price." He bounced lightly on his heels, obviously feeding off of Gale's energy. It was hard enough to keep him still without bringing in a second energetic person. "We'll have to look it over together sometime then!"
He slumped back against the counter were Loreta perched, grinning with cheerful energy. Once more his attention danced about the room, focusing on Elyse and Dilis as he awaited Gale to bring the teapot to his attention.
"Really? A Healer? That's quite impressive, Elyse! When did you first want to become a healer?" He tilted his head, leaning toward Dilis as she tossed her coy remark toward him. Well well, perhaps not so ladylike as he thought. Or perhaps she was just one of those women who tried to use their 'feminine wiles' to get what they wanted. Hatter was promiscuous, but not weak of will. He simply smiled. "Perhaps I shall if you don't find what you need from Gale, yes?"

Gale made an unusual noise that was half way between a squeal and a hum as he grabbed packing materials from under the counter to put the tea set in proper packaging. Full price items didn't need to be broken. After a bit of a struggle with the box he grinned and put the package besides Loreta. What an unusual messenger.
"Beginner's books are on shelf down the isle next to you dear," Gale said pointing to the proper isle for the feline. What a pretty feline she was, if she wasn't with company he probably would have made some sort of advance. Alas, she seemed to be preoccupied with the Hatter, oh well. "If the lovely lady wants medical herbs she can take the plant to her left for free. That thing has been in my shop for almost a year now, and it's starting to take over other plants, I swear."
He shook his head and went back to focusing on the necklace that Loreta was trying on. He wanted to at least make one sale today. "It's fifteen for that, looks quite good on you. I haven't the slightest idea if it does anything, but it looks good on you."
Loreta was easily flattered when it came down to it. She reached into her messengers' bag carefully and produced the coinage needed to pay. "I'll take it. Risks are my sort of style. Well, Risks that don't kill me." The heron probably wouldn't wear the necklace that often, but hey, she was allowed to have a little fun once in a while. Retail therapy was what a girl needed sometime.

“Oh, when I first meet Mr. Eilwyn. He is blind, you know, he lost his sight. But he is really nice and friendly.” She nodded her head to back up her words.
She had finally caught and comprehended the words that the Mr. Gale had spoken about offering them a discount. It was really nice of him but she did not have any money. And then he continued on to offer her the plant on the left for free.
“That is really nice of you Mr. Gale! I would be more then glad to give this plant a happy home. Are you sure that you want to just give it away though? Maybe I can make something for you to keep or sell instead?” Her ears lowered some in contemplation. “I will be sure to bring Mommy-Mnem or my Papa by too. I am more then sure that they would love to visit a place like this!”
She looked around for the second time she had come in the shop, taking in some of the jewelry and knick-knacks.

Dilis blushed at Hatter's comment, she'd never acted so forward before but there was something about him... she just couldn't help herself. Trying to maintain her composure she turned to him. "That would be kind of you, it's not often someone offers me help." Her face showed calm but really inside she had butterflies.
"Beginner's books are on shelf down the isle next to you dear."
"Why thank you, kind sir. It will be of great help to me" She walked over to the section Gale had been speaking of and plucked a book from the shelf. How to fine tune your abilities Yes, this shall do quite nicely. The owner of the shop seemed nice enough, she may have to come visit him again in the future.
"A discount? Oh my, that is terribly nice of you." She called from the book section. "If that be the case I might just have to get this one." She walked back up to the counter and placed it gingerly next to the other's items. "Your kindness has made a permanent customer out of me. I may have to come back anyway for that music box, it will still be here." She smiled at the one they called Gale.
