Hatter gave a hearty laugh, duo-toned eyes twinkling with merriment. He twisted back toward Dilis, his grin widening before his gaze became absolutely serious.
"Because, m'dear... If you believe its invisible than its surely not where it was supposed to be. Am I correct?" In the blink of an eye, the merriment was back and so was his glinting smile. The little mouse was greeting him and Lore was questioning him. Smoothly he danced between people again. "Of course I'm going to help! I wouldn't be so daft as to thrust myself into your little trio without having some knowledge of what's missing." He winked, and finally he swung back toward Loreta before slowing his dizzying shifting.
"I've visited Gale a few times, it's a wonderful little shoppe but rather out of the way. I can see how it'd be missed."
Pausing abruptly, he turned back toward the horned feline and the little mouse, smiling bashfully as he realized he'd failed to introduce himself in his amusement.
"Ah yes, forgive me... I'm Hatter, and you ladies are?"

Well. Damn. He had to be a diamond if he could charm his way coherently through something like that. Loreta was at a complete and utter loss for one. She wanted to say something, honestly, she was at a loss for words. At least he knew where this Gale person was.
At least this little adventure wouldn't be prolonged, right? Formalities and all? Not like she had anymore work to do after this. Her boss could careless if she skipped out for a few hours. He only wanted her to deliver the packages on time, and that was it. She hadn't failed him yet, so he probably wasn't going to lose faith.
"Uh... all right. That helps a lot. Thank you," the Heron said as she rubbed her head with her feathers. So many people gave her a headache. It was a minor one but still a headache. Joy.

The mouse giggled when he gave her a wink. She tried to follow his with her eyes, she was not sure she had the correct words for it, but he seemed to be constantly moving, because it was more him moving then anything else. His constant moving made her slightly dizzy so she ended up focusing her eyes on where he tended to be the most rather then where he actually was.
It was a good thing that this new male knew where they were going honestly, for even though she wanted to say she knew where the building was she knew that it was a lie and would not do them any good.
“My name is Elyse D'Allesio, though you will probably want to just call me Elyse. Everyone else does. It is nice to meet you Mr. Hatter!” She gave a warm smile. It was always fun to meet new people.
“So! Where is the invisible street?” She tilted her head in confusion and pondering.

"Because, m'dear... If you believe its invisible than its surely not where it was supposed to be. Am I correct?"
You could cut the tension with a knife at that moment and then before she knew it, he had gone back to his cheery self.
"Um. Well-Sure, I suppose you would be correct. Oh my goodness, where are my manners today... It's a pleasure to meet you Hatter, my name is Dilis." Dilis hated to admit it but she kind of liked this Hatter fellow and was grateful he decided to help. She never knew where she was and always got lost easily so someone leading her was a bit helpful. She supposed it was because of this confusion that had led her to forget herself for a moment. Her manners were everything and she normally prided herself on how polite she was but today... today she as terribly frazzled.
"Well, let's not just sit here with our mouths agape. Lets get Lore to her delivery on time!" She needed to pump herself up now so that she wouldn't continue to inwardly chide herself.

Hatter was basking in the attention. He loved company, especially in his 'up' moods such as this one. After Elyse and Dilis offered up their names, Hatter swept off his hat and bowed briefly before straightening once more and bursting into his usual grin.
"It's a pleasure to meet you both!"
Once more his gaze swept over the small group, briefly studying them each in turn. The little mouse, Elyse, was quite a chipper little thing and seemed like she'd be a lot of fun to get to know. The meek Avington Dilis, however, didn't catch his curiousity with as much force. That, however, was probably a sad bi-product of her Avington heritage.
Polite though, and that definitely meant something to the unusual Joker.
His gaze shifted back toward Loreta and he smiled lowly, almost knowingly. Poor thing and her headaches. "You're welcome, o'course. Always happy to help out a friend." Once more his attention shifted and he motioned vaguely in the opposite direction they'd almost begun to head out to. "Your missing street is back that way a block or two, a discreet little thing. More of an alley than a street. Not too good for business, saying that its hard to locate if you've never been there before."
With a lazy grin in place, Hatter spun lightly on his heel and headed casually back in the direction they'd just left.

"Of course. Of freaking course," the heron muttered as the Hatter turned in the other direction. Of course they were going the wrong way, fate very much wanted to mock her.
The prospect of hopping the whole way didn't sit right in Loreta's head. With a sigh she spread her wings and glided up next to the Hatter. The flapping at a pace like this would be annoying, however, she wasn't going to hop the whole way there. Her leg already hurt, and her headache would probably get worse. "So this Gale person is a man from my understanding," Loreta said to the Hatter in particular. If the others wanted to respond that was all right with her. "Is he um... forgiving if a message is late? If you would know that I don't know but... it's worth asking."
The people at the office had said he was a rather nasty Villa eagle with a short temper. Then again, the people at the office were jerks, and were probably trying to pull Loreta's metaphorical leg. Bastards. She would have to deal with that when it came up. On the bright side he may not yell around potential customers.

She really liked this newcomer. He looked like a lot of fun and something about the way he held himself, especially his constant moving, caused her to giggle. He gave the impression that he was a really friendly person too.
When he spun lightly on his heel turning to head back in the direction heron and feline had just come. I wanted to learn how to spin like that! she thought to herself, making a goal in her head to practice whenever she got the chance.
When the heron took into flight, keeping in line with the Hatter, she started to bounce after them determined not to be left behind. All of this was very interesting, better then the adventures that Rai-daddy set up for them every now and then. An invisible street, people in human form . . . all of this was sure to make her other siblings jealous.

Dilis sighed and followed after Hatter and Lore. She wanted so badly to please Lore and she had gone and messed up again. She always made things harder for herself and others it seemed, she didn't mean to.. things just kind of happened that way.
She wasn't sure about this Hatter fellow. Had he not made her seem foolish, she probably would have felt enamored by him. He was exactly the sort she would fall for; handsome, tall, and good with kids. Though kids weren't as important to her now, she had toyed with the idea of family. She wanted to belong to somene and feel loved.... she longed for someone who wouldn't send her away when they were upset with her.
That was silly thoughts though, she needed to focus; her pride was already hurt so now she needed to really pay attention and help where she could.

Hatter watched Loreta lift into the air, a smile quirking onto his lips. The poor gal amused him so and yet he couldn't help but feel bad for the lovely Heron. She deserved that prosthetic leg but until then...
"Ole' Gale? Nah, he'll be fine... So long as it's not live cargo or anything, y'know? Doubt anyone would be all to happy to have their cargo die, regardless if it was early or not."
Without warning he reached out, humming cheerfully as he plucked the Heron straight from the air. As usual, he showed an obvious lack of concern for other's personal boundaries. Continuing on cheerfully, he glanced between the three females.
"Do you three like magic? Gale's got quite the selection, a whole lot of interesting stuff in there." As he spoke, he lead them down the street and to a small side road. It truly was an 'invisible street': if one didn't know it was there, than they weren't likely to find it. "We're almost there, by the way. You can probably see it from here."
He motioned with his head toward a small shoppe nestled among the other buildings, a sign hung from the door to set it apart from the other buildings but otherwise it was almost exactly like the others. Invisible.

Loreta really had no time to react to Hatter grabbing her. She squawked in surprise, but wasn't about to protest. She was too embarrassed, and if her feathers weren't black, they wouldn't cover her blush. She would have said something to continue the conversation, but she was enjoying the lack of personal space a bit too much.
"Oh thank god," Loreta finally said as she saw the shop in the distance. She would have flown ahead of them but she... well couldn't. She was pretty fine with that. "No wonder the freaking people at the office make fun of this delivery route. I never would have found it."
They made it to the front door in what seemed like a flash. The shop looked quite cute and rustic set off in it's corner. When they entered, the shop was cluttered with all sorts of strange magical things. Weapons, jewelry boxes, clothing, plants, knick knacks and a variety of other things lined the shelves. The store owner was no where in sight.
"Delivery for Mr. Gale?" Lore called.
"Give me a minute! Take a look around while I finish something!" called a singsong voice from somewhere at the back of the store.
(( OOC: >_>; yes so. Hope the auto move is all right <3. Gale will pop out of the backroom in my next post. ))
