Sorry about not staying in any towns longer ... I'm just not used to ... visiting a place because of it's people ...
He didn't think she minded too much, she would have... asked to stay a little longer if she truly wanted to, right? He was fine with telling himself that ... it meant that he wouldn't muck up everything right here and now and start worrying. Had he known she was doing the same thing at the time he would have laughed.
He also tried not to think of his own attempt to get back to his roots ... he'd yet to make it to the Sorgaire Range... but the Lowlands had been a bad idea. He wouldn't make a comment on that part.
Hum ... they're with their father, unless Maxwell wouldn't let him take them ... or he hugged them to death.
He laughed a bit at the thought .... the feline could be a little much sometimes. He paused to peer down at her for a moment, the thought never once passing through his mind.
If you don't have anywhere else you need to be ... we don't have to.

If she had bipedal hands she would have waved them dismissively, instead she shook her head. "Oh no! I have no qualms about how long we stayed. I was rather eager to go home myself. I suppose I just made the remark...because I dont think I have anything in common with the Kahmden people. I was hoping to see what I might have inherited...you know?" she asked the last question with a smile. She supposed though...that she didn't seem much resembelance to the people in any of his siblings either...at least...not yet. She supposed it was the household they had grown up in. She didn;t know anything about Avington...but as far as she could tell...she was very much a Capital baby.
She joined him in laughing at his commentary. "I take it he is the kind to sufficate children with love? That is good to have friends like that." she smiled. Igal had not been quite that way...but he had been a rather affectionate friend of the family as well.
She thought about where she might need to be. She sighed a little. "Well...I suppose I should go home...and let my mother and Igal know I'm back...I'm sure they are worried about me...I stayed in the forest longer then I told them I would..." she blushed a bit. Wanting to stay with Tavor and spraining her leg had really helped that along. The the thought struck her...and she smiled broadly, teeth showing in her glee, "Why don't you come with me!? You can meet my family!"

He is, actually, always has been ... as far as I know. He even went out and got the necessary items to smother Cas with love.
He rolled his eyes at that, but a grin lingered on his muzzle. Maxwell had freaked him out quite a bit the first time they'd met, but he was the one who, ultimately, convinced Ophelia to take him in ... although Xylia had been quite a big help for that as well.
He felt his ears droop a bit when she announced that she should be going home, he really didn't want to go to his empty house right now and spend the next couple of days completely alone after spending so long in her company, but he was aware of how family worried, he'd have to make a stop in Corvistowne and tell them how his trip went ... especially after how his last trip had gone so horribly. Well he could always do that and have Anatolius drop the kids off there....
He stopped walking for a moment when she announced that he could come and meet her family, the fur along his spine bristling ever so slightly with ... nervousness? That was ... quite the offer, but he was so very awkward ...
Are you ... sure?

"Nessesary Items? Cas doesn't bite does he?" she joked casually. She realized with a blush, that she had not really asked him to much about his children while they had been in the forest together. Well, that wasn't completely true. They had conversations, but none that were completely in depth. Why would Maxwell have needed items to snuggle the little bugger? She wondered...in slight horror...if Cas was pure Lowlander...and if...maybe he had inherited an unhealthy dose of the genetic lepracy that plagued the region. How unfortunate...
Come to think of it...she didn't know who the mother had been! "If it isn't a sore subject...where is the mother?"
She hadn't realized he had stopped when she had offered to take him to meet her family, and only realized once she could only hear her tiny feet against the cobblestones. She looked back at him, an ear cocked slightly. "Oh course!" she realized then that he was worried, and wandered up to him, nuzzling his stomach slightly (as it was the highest place she could reach in her animal form). "You have no reason to worry. You are wonderful! I'm absolutely sure my family will fall in love with you..." 'as I have...' she wanted to add...but figured...it was probably to soon to say something so intimate.

Only when he's playing ... no, the boy has wings ... made of fire ... makes him hard to hold. Anything else you'd like to know about them?
He really hadn't gone in depth about any of the kids had he? They were all strange in one way or another, poor Brokat being the strangest of the three, poor boy.
Actually ... I'm their mother. Their father lives in the Capitol as well, a Morganberry Wolf.
It wasn't exactly a sore subject, but it was a bit awkward ... but she had every right to know cause, well ... she'd definitely be meeting the canine at some point and of course .... she'd asked him. Being called 'momma' was a little weird for the first few months that they started talking but he'd gotten rather used to it now.
Well ... if you don't think they'd mind me then .... sure, I'll accompany you to your parents' home.
He smiled softly, trying to cover his nerves completely, but he couldn't quite help but worry over whether they'd like him or not ... and he'd worry until he actually did meet them.

She nodded a bit. Fire wings? What a strange mutation... "Anything and Everything." she said with a smile. She didn't want to ask a question that might be to private or well...something he might be embarrassed to say, or that he was uncomfortible with. She figured the phrase was a good way to say she wanted to know things that he didn't mind telling her. She did want to know a thing or two about them before she met them...
She kinda did a double take when he stated that he was the mother. She was a bit shocked to say the least. She hadn't pinned him as the type to...well...birth. She blushed madly...maybe...maybe that was why he had been so adverce to getting together with her? Oh suits...what if she had pushed something on him....But they had sex....it didn't compute. "Are you....? Did I...?" she said...feeling as if there was nothing she could ask to make the situation better...but trying to find the words to express what she was saying...
She was confused, so much so that she pushed the conversation about her family to the side...

Casanova is entirely canine, a mix of Morganberry and lowlands .... a rather attractive mix, actually, Vesper is a mix of the two regions as well but she's rat and canine and Brokat ... is entirely lowland and .... a rather big mix ... rat, canine and eagle all in one.
That pretty well summed up the trio appearance wise except he left out any mention of rot purposely ... the best way to love them was to see and experience them all at once. Well ... that had worked with Anatolius anyhow. The three could be rather cute when they wanted to be.
He didn't quite catch her double take, but his ears did twitch when she started to fumble over her questions. It took him a moment to think about what she was trying to ask and when he did, well, the blush went straight ot his ears and he had a hard time looking at her, but he had to ... she needed to know that he was serious.
I ... like you ... t-that's all that matters.
And that was his nice way of putting things ... he really didn't want to tell her that his children were the accidental result of a drunken one night stand. That just ... didn't sit well in his mind still.

She nodded at the small describtions of his children, making mental notes of it. She smiled a bit at the thought of Vesper. "The man who raised me, Igal, you will probably meet him actually...he is a rat canine mix." she said softly, still a little bewildered by the situation at hand to really give a more intellegent responce.
She blushed a bit at his final responce to her disgruntled questions. Deep red shown through her lime green fur. She had questions, lots of questions, but the way he spoke. She used her better judgement and dropped the subject. If Tavor was ready...she would know...and she would ask then. "I like you too." she said as if to confirm his words. She felt strange.
Ilana decided maybe it would be best to drop the whole children thing until they finally got back to his house...if thats where they would be going after he met her family. "I live on the other side of the city...I'm not sure who will be there...but I imagine Igal will be...as he's almost always there...My brothers and sister are starting to go their seperate ways, and mom tends to wander out of the house more that the children arent around. I think shes suffering from a bit of empty nest syndrome and trying to find things to occupy her time."
She started walking in the direction of the house...

She didn't seem put off by the children and he was glad, maybe this would end up working after all? He did know one thing, though ... if she ended up not wanting anything to do with the trio he'd have no choice but to call things off, he just wouldn't be able to stay with someone who wasn't going to accept and love his children even if it meant that he'd never find anyone else. He hoped it wouldn't come to that though ...
He was also quite thankful that she had decided to drop the subject for now, he really, really didn't feel like talking about that sort of thing. He still wasn't entirely sure what had gone on in his head that night to even be with the wolf ... but, on the other hand, he wasn't exactly in his head, alcohol had a bad habit of making his brain go fuzzy and letting him do things he normally wouldn't. He dismissed his thoughts and gave her another little smile and played with one of her ears lightly and affectionately.
You've got nothing to worry about ... I promise.
When she said where her home was, well... he brightened up a bit more.
I live on that side as well, along the outskirts.

She was greatly soothed by his affectionate touch of her ear. Tavor hadn't proven to be horribly affectionate, at least in the beginning. She knew there must be a lot behind it, and so...she let her worries pass. She blushed slightly, she really let her emotions go crazy around Tavor..."Ok..." she said softly, and allowed herself a smile, happy to see that the rat doing so as well.
"Really?!" she exclaimed, obviously very suprised, "That so strange...I wonder why we had never met before!"[ she said shaking her head with a laugh. She didn't exactly live on the outskirts...but she wasn't exactly in the center of the city either. With all her wanderings all over the capital, it did seem a bit strange that they had never met. "I guess the city is a lot bigger then I'm giving it credit for..."
After a rather lengthy walk, they found themselves in front of a rather modest looking little house (considering the drab colors it was painted in comparatively), not unlike the others on the street in size but certainly an individual with it's rather impressive front garden. Ilana walked past it quickly, though to someone who had not been to the house before...and who was a plant lover...it might be a lot harder to do so. It was green everywhere, and save for some small damage to the plants (which probably wouldnt have been there had Ilana been around) it was prestine.
She knocked on the door with a lifted front leg...
