Oh yes! Contact information! How could he forget? The mouse smiled, this woman, as chilly as she was he didn't seem to notice. He was too happy to have a job. "You can contact me here, or at the inn I'm staying at. Just let me get some paper so I can write it down for you..."
He waved one of the severs over, and they offered him a piece of paper and pen rather quickly. He slipped the pen in his mouth and scribbled down the address. He slipped the paper over to the deer, a smile still on his face. Sometimes he was completely clueless. It didn't matter one wit though. She was his patron, he would do anything to protect her now. As long as she remained honorable he wouldn't have to walk away without getting paid.
"Is there any place I should stop at that you recommend?"

Taking the paper offered to her, Mephitisia looked it over once before smoothly sliding it into her satchel. Meeting Ichigo had definitely been the up to her day. Quite the perk...and just in time for her upcoming Jack Quest. Settling back into her chair, Mephitisia allowed her gaze to slide around the room before picking up her tea and taking a careful sip of it.
She didn't like drinking things she didn't prepare herself but she doubted the tea woman would poison a friend of Ichigo's when it seemed as if she knew him so well.
"Hmm... I must say it depends on your interests. Being of a scientific mind, I can suggest a few supply shops and some rather...interesting Corvistownian run shoppes." But Ichigo didn't seem the scientific sort, now did he? She drummed her fingers on her cup, arching a brow thoughtfully. "What sort of interests do you have, Ichigo? That might help."

The mouse thought for a moment. "Antiques, magical items, and weapons really. Though I imagine I could find interest in Corvistowneian owned shops. I am vaguely curious about clockwork and that sort of stuff." The mouse continued to sip his tea. He had no idea how to get around the city and where things were.
"You'd have to give me pretty detailed directions. I don't know my way around such a large city. I grew up in a rather small village. It's a bit overwhelming seeing so many streets," Ichigo sighed. He felt a bit like a country idiot. It was a little embarrassing to admit a downfall to anyone, let alone someone that he was going to work for. "Thankfully it doesn't take long for me to adapt." The mouse finished his tea and quickly pour himself another cup after a bit of juggling. Not having hands was a bit of a bitch sometimes. On the bright side he was used to it, and it didn't effect his job.

Mephitisia took his words into consideration, her eyes hooded with thought. In all honesty she knew very few places that sold those sort of items in town, none of them were much of an interest to her and even less likely would be that she knew any specific directions. Her attention was quite...single minded lately. Ah well, Ichigo was there to help remedy that now. He'd be that extra eye she needed in times like these, especially now that Xylia was not here to do hold that position. Dratted girl.
However... That 'dratted girl' lived in town now, and had for quite a while now. She was the sort that would be able to help a stranger around town. Hmmm.
"Afraid I couldn't direct you to any places like that...but I do know someone who might be able to." Just so long as he didn't announce their connection, Xylia would surely get along with the honor-bound mouse. They were peas in a pot... Perhaps it was why she appreciated him so much. "I could give you some directions to her house, if you'd like? Though...please do me a favor, and not mention our little chat. It'll be enough to announce you're in need of directions, or a guide."

"Well, Thank you. I won't tell her you sent me," The mouse said with a smile. At least he would have someone willing to help him. He didn't look forward to being lost in the city. He sipped his tea once more with a smile on his face. The mouse was quite happy now. He had a job, tea, and he was going to find someone who could help him get around the city. Today was actually turning out well.
He was doing his family proud. Of course they would expect much more from him as the months passed. He would have to gain his biped form soon if he was to continue honoring his family. He looked forward to it to some degree but, well, he didn't like the idea of seeing his father smiling or not. He would avoid returning home until everything was complete, at least he had years to work.

Mephitisia nodded, that casual smile still in place.
Good, good. No questions. She was definitely quite approving of this male and anticipated not having to kill him as the months went on. She reached into her satchel and fished around blindly for a moment before her fingers found what she was searching for: a small letter with a piece of map and some hand written directions scrawled out.
It was not a letter to Mephitisia, she had intercepted it on the way to Maxwell. Oops. The little inconvenience she had caused would be sorted out in short order, no worries.
She found a pen then, and circled the tea house to give him a starting mark. The handwritten directions, considering that their starting point was from Corvistowne and not their current location, returned to Mephitisia's bag. She smirked slightly and slid the paper across the table to him.
"You should be able to find her there. A black and green Corvistowne doe, she had a short mane but it might've grown out by now...It's been a while since we last met up." She paused slightly, eyes darkening with thought as she brought the tea back up for another sip. "When we speak again, please let me know how she's doing."

The mouse finished his tea as she spoke. He studied the directions for a minute and nodded. "All right, I can follows these easily, and thank you very much for the job and information. It was a good thing I ran into you." He gave a small half bow. "Now I'm going to depart if you don't mind."
The mouse hopped down from his seat carefully. Ichigo gave another slight bow before leaving the deer in the tea house. She was safe there, thankfully, and imagined that no one would go after her so quickly. With directions in hand, that he thankfully remembered to take them with him, he trotted down the streets and navigated his way to the house. After a brief moment of debating if he was lost or not, he managed to find the proper house. With a sigh of slight relief he knocked on the door.

For the first time since meeting Ichigo, Mephitisia allowed her illusion of friendliness fail a bit. She was distracted by her thoughts and those thoughts were swiftly taking on a far darker nature. "You're welcome, and thank you for the tea." Politeness would go far with Ichigo, it was worth the effort it took to use it. "I don't mind at all. Enjoy yourself, Ichigo..."Her tone was vaguely dismissive, or perhaps it was entirely distant. She wasn't exactly 'there' anymore and a small frown had claimed her thoughtful features. Xylia... Damn that girl and damn herself for caring in the first place. While the house was not huge, it was also not entirely small. Cozy was how Xylia best described it and it suited her and Solo just fine. It had been a while since The Accident and somewhere along the line, Xylia had slowly begun to become more like her old self. She was cheerful again and the breakdowns that had haunted her shortly after the experiment had finally abated. With it, however, she had placed a lot of her old 'dreams' behind her. Better not to worry about her sword fighting for now and just focus on a more productive distraction. At the moment she was alone, fiddling with a concoction that had been sitting in the back of her mind for a while now and that she just couldn't seem to get right. Ichigo's knock caused her to jump a little but it was definitely a thankful interruption. She had reached another brick wall and the young doe was sure that she'd only end up causing herself more grief if she continued to bang herself into the same brick wall. Pulling away from her work, she approached the door and pulled it open to greet the stranger on the other side. "Hello, sir! How may I help you?"

The mouse smiled at the doe, giving her a bow before speaking. This was the person Miss Mephitisia had been speaking of, at least she fit the description. Well... not perfectly. There didn't seem to be a spot of green on her. He couldn't imagine there were a lot of doe running around. "Yes, Miss Xylia I presume? I was told that you might be able to show me around the city. I'm new around here and I don't know my way around at all. I actually had trouble getting to your house."
Ichigo blushed slightly under his fur. He had a horrible sense of direction and he hoped that he wasn't at the wrong house. He was the imperfect son, but the only son of the family. It was down right terrifying when he screwed up, or he admitted a fault in front of his father. Thankfully he wouldn't have to deal with that for a long while. Now he had a job to boot.
"If you can't I understand, I suppose I'll have to search for someone else then, though you'd have to point me in the right direction, and to the right person if I've made a terrible mistake."
