Turning the doorknob he let them inside. The owner of the building had long since just left it unlocked well aware that if anyone entered the building chances were extremely high that their stay would not be a long one. Once his other two partners were inside he closed the door behind him.
Upon entering through the door one came into a large room, a counter lay at the back along the wall. A door could be seen behind the counter. That door lead to the two back rooms, which he would make into offices. There was also a staircase back there that lead to what would be bedrooms upstairs. There were three large windows along the wall they had their backs to, which allowed a great deal of light into the room – the perfect lighting to reflect on the jewelry that would be displayed in cases.
“Well, what do you think?” he asked, admiring the room himself.

"So you're renting or purchasing?" Shinrai checked again, his eyes slipping across the rooms in sight curiously. His mind had gone from the 'ghost' back to business in a moment. For wot Aderlass currently had planned, it really did look perfect for their purposes. They might need to add some extra shelving or cases, but at this point that was just a drop in the bucket.
The stallion's ears were up as he began to explore the first floor curiously. The rooms in the back were large and spacious; they'd be very useful for wotever Aderlass decided to do with them. He didn't yet know about the upstairs, but this place was looking good already.
"Have you had the building checked out for structural integrity, pests, and all that?" the Marshdweller horse was still asking questions, listening for replies, but still needing answers. One part of his mind was keeping a lookout for the boy Aderlass mentioned, but he was checking the building with more of his thoughts.

Zane quickly went over the numbers of slight remodeling and painting supplies. It was a small cost if Aderlass was going to be successful, and most people were successful when it came to jewelry. The probability of him failing this business was next nothing with his location.
"It looks pretty sound. If there are no major structural issues and you plan on buying it you should be able to work off the amount you paid it about a month and a half--assuming everything is properly priced." Zane said with a thoughtful nod. Math was easy for him, large calculations included. He got that from his father he assumed, he was the only other person in the family who was good with math.
"Of course there's always risks no matter what. I imagine you'd be successful since you plan on selling jewelry, which is pretty universal. People can't refuse well made and well priced shiny things." The sparrow looked at the state of the building. It looked rather nice.

As the two he was with went about their inspection of the place, he gave a quick, sharp whistle.
“I am planning on purchasing.” He was relieved to hear the calculations that Zane had come up with. He nodded his thanks to the bird before reply to Whip once more. “I was able to have the place searched for all those good things; each one came out as good. There are a few minor things that will have to be fixed up before I will be able to open. Things to change or adjust from its long months of not being occupied but nothing that should set us back any.”
No it should not set them back any, especially if what Zane calculated turned out to be the truth. Even if not, it did not seem that the business would not do too unwell. “Yes, it is a good thing that shiny things have such a place in people’s hearts.

"Everything should work out then?" Zane said as he inspected the place further. It was caked in quite a bit of dust. The sparrow flapped his wings a bit, causing dust to fly every which way. Bah. He coughed a bit as he tried to brush some of the dust away, making the situation worse.
Lovely. "You seem to be have made a decision. I suppose I should get going or something." The sparrow said between coughing. He still had nothing to do for the rest of the day, but he would rather not cough up a lung. After the dust settled a bit be brushed off his beak. "I suppose I'll come back to the shop when it opens. I'll bring my brother with me so you can meet him too. I think he would get along with you rather nicely." The sparrow gave a bow to Rai as he headed for the exit. He was content on leaving unless someone stopped him.

The stallion sent the sparrow a curious glance. "We have yet to meet the 'ghost'; you would leave before that?" Amusement lit his voice though he certainly wouldn't blame the Selkie Lakes bird from wanting to pull out before the appearance of the potentially frightening lad. His own run-in with a ghost wasn't pleasant, after all, though he now didn't flinch from such supernatural phenomenon. He had survived, after all; he had no reason to fear.
His attention returned the whole of the shoppe. "When should you be able to move in?" He turned back to face the Morganberry mouse, wondering briefly about that strange whistle as well. Perhaps a way to call forth the ghost of the building. The stallion's tail tapped his hocks idly in thought. That was an amusing picture anyway; ghosts that answered to whistles, like some pet bander.

The mouse eyed the bird of a moment, wondering if Zane really would leave or not. It was up to the lad really, he was not going to say anything for or against the lad’s leaving.
Hearing his friends question he turned to him to reply “I personally will not be living here, I am going to go ahead and keep my apartment,” Whip would know which one he referred to. “I am sure I am going to want breaks from the shop here every now and then, but I will remain close in case it needs me anytime I am not here” He was also planning on keeping the apartment as an escape for later when he might need it.
“Huh, I guess Asher is not here at the moment.” He looked around as if he expected to find something. “He might be out and about causing mischief.” He said in a tone that suggested the mouse would not be surprised if that was indeed the case

Zane paused. He hadn't anything else to do, but they seemed to be done here. Everything was ultimately decided. What else could the sparrow do? "Well, there doesn't seem to be anything left to do here. I'm not in a hurry or anything and it seems like the "ghost" isn't around."
The sparrow was not disappointed about not meeting the boy. If he had been pretending to be a ghost for heaven only knows how long, he could only imagine how mischievous the boy was. Getting involved in pranks never was his favorite pass time. They always led to someone getting hurt or metaphorically stepped on.
"I'll stay if you really want me to, but like I said before, there doesn't seem to be anything left to do. You have all your plans laid out, and everything seems to point to success once you put your plans in action," he said with his head craned around.

The fox made his way down the street at a determined pace, though it did not stop him from pausing every now and then when something caught his interest. His mom had wanted him to do a few things around the house this morning so he was distracted from his usually occupation of ‘haunting’ the empty building that was located on the outer edge of the Bazaar. However, now that Mr. Aderlass all but owned the place there were not as many visitors to scare. It was a shame. Once the red mouse bought the place he was going to have to find somewhere else to hang around and aimlessly scare people. For some odd reason he was sure that the mouse would not appreciate his scaring off potential customers. Passing by a café that had tables outside he grabbed a water glass from one of the waitress, taking a sip before handing it back – receiving very confused and startled stares from those around to his general location. Not thinking twice about the action he continued on his way to the abandoned building.
