(( OOC: <3 Once you've decided on things, Blue, you can reply to this. Take your sweet time, there's no rush. I'm just posting this now so you can jump on it when you're ready. )) Peaches normally didn't travel to a place filled with mind numbing sexist women, but today was special. She wanted a change of pace. One that didn't involve her getting into horrible trouble at the palace. Plus Yarrow Gardens had a nice variety of tea. She might as well be a bit responsible and pick some up for her daughter. The feline hummed to herself as she walked along the path filled with flowers and a variety of bright colored plants. It really was a nice place despite the crowd. She should have come here more often, if it wasn't such a mind numbing trip to travel alone. Xiven would certainly fit in with a bunch of lesbians.... Okay she was being mean. Peaches paused as she looked down the path. Who was that in the distance....? The cat smirked as she continued down the path. "Excuse me, Miss, you wouldn't happen to know your way to the Blaue Blume Tea House?"

Calanthe saw the purple haired woman walking towards her, and cocked her head slightly as she looked her over. Straight jacket, mini skirt, and high heeled boots. Great, a crazy skank was walking through the Gardens. But, this woman was undeniably beautiful (and she certainly wasn't a man), even if her choice of clothing was, for lack of a better word, intriguing. She heard the woman's question (as well as detected a bit of a snarky undertone) and answered rather politely: "The Blaue Blume Tea House is just down the path here. Just take a right at the bluebells growing along the path, and you should see it about a quarter of a mile up the road. They have a lovely assortment of teas, since I'll assume that is what you are going there for. Do you need assistance getting to the tea house, or do my directions satisfy your needs?"On the inside, Calanthe was secretly hoping that she was killing her with kindness.

She was a rather pretty one. Peaches smirked as she look at the woman in front of her a bit harder. Six of Diamonds. Pretty as hell. Maybe she should drag Xiven to the yarrow just for something like this? Might make things interesting at the very least.
That was a complicated set of directions.
Peaches' expression changed into one of confusion, as she lifted up her sleeved hand an placed it under her chin. "I don't know..." she said in an airy voice. "That sounds a little complicated for me. I think I might need your help getting there."
Playing dumb was fun. It made things more interesting at the very least. "And if you've tried the tea I might want your opinion. I have to get some for a few friends of mine... and they're terribly picky. I have very little sense when it comes to things like this."
Of course that was a bit of a lie, considering she knew how to make tea all her own, and her mother was an herbalist. But of course, the Yarrow didn't need to know that. "My name is Peaches, it's nice to meet you." she said with a cheery smile.

Calanthe smiled gracefully. "I would be delighted to help you to the Blaue Blume Tea House. By the way, my name is Calanthe. It is a pleasure to meet you, Peaches. Shall we be on our way?"
As she turned around to start back down the path, she smiled to herself. She could tell that Peaches wasn't entirely telling the truth, but she wasn't going to let that fact ruin their little trip down to the tea house. Besides, it takes two to play this game, and why not have a little fun? It had been quite awhile since she'd had done so, and before now this day was looking to be like any other.
"These friends of yours...what kind of flavors do they prefer in their tea? The Blaue Blume Tea House has quite a large selection, so I'm sure we can find something that would suit them quite nicely."

Peaches refrained from skipping down the path as she walked besides the newly dubbed Calanthe. That was an awful pretty name, she had to wonder what exactly it meant. Either way this was going to be fun.
"One of my friends hails from Corvistowne.... they don't have any of the delicate blends from Yarrow, but I might try to get some Oolong tea for them. My daughter drinks tea like a fish, but as far as I know she's never had any of the Yarrow teas. I suppose it's just because she doesn't get away from her job all that much." Peaches shrugged. "I was thinking some sort of Green Tea for her, or perhaps a nice blend. I heard that this tea house was one of the best."
"What tea do you like?" Peaches asked giving the woman a curious look. "If your taste in tea is as elegant as your looks, I think my daughter would love any tea you picked out."

Calanthe blushed quite a bit when Peaches called her elegant. She was liking this woman more and more by the second. But now was not the time to get all caught up in the moment. Quickly regaining her composure, she replied:
"I myself do prefer a Green tea, and the Blaue Blume Tea House sells many different varieties. One of my favorites is their Ginger Peach Green tea. The peach is such a wonderfully sweet flavor, and the way the ginger gives it that sharp tangy taste, mmmm, it's divine."
"Anyway, enough about me. Your friend and your daughter seem to have interesting tastes. I know Corvistowne can have limited teas, so this will be a real treat for your friend. Oolong tea is lovely, and if your friend has a sweet tooth, then I would suggest the Chocolate Mint Oolong that the tea house offers. As for your daughter, who seems to share my affinity for Green teas, she may like the Jasmine Blossom Green tea. It's delicate and light, and the jasmine gives it a wonderful scent."
"And what sort of tea do you prefer, Peaches? That is, if you like tea" She blushed again slightly after saying this.

Peaches refrained from giggling like an idiot school girl. Corvistowne did have limited teas, but when Hatter was involved it was a different story. He had enough teas to put a normal tea house out of business. Though she took note of which types were mentioned, nodding to herself as the canine went.
And then came the question of what tea she liked.
"Black Valentine's Tea if you've ever heard of it. It's my favorite mix of tea leaves," She said as they walked along. "It's nothing as fancy as the blends that I've heard about from Yarrow, but it's one of the few Black Teas that I can drink without bouncing of the walls."
Peaches brushed a bit of hair back from her face with her sleeved hands. "Unrelated to tea, I have to say Yarrow Gardens is beautiful! I should have come to this region sooner. Not only is it filled with amazing flowers and teas, it has such wonderful women."
This was a fun game. She should flirt with the same gender a bit more often.

"Hrmmm...Black Valentine's Tea you say? I don't believe that I've ever heard of that one, but then again, I've never seen someone quite like you before either."
Calanthe was blushing profusely now, feeling the blood rush to her cheeks. It had been so long since she'd met someone like Peaches. In fact, she hadn't met anyone like Peaches before. She was just so...odd? Oh, there had to be a better word to describe her. But it wasn't like 'odd' was a negative way to think of her. It was rather sublime to meet a female like her, someone so strong of will, and yet able to enjoy herself immensely. Just thinking about her made her feel wondrous inside, as well as making her tail swish back and forth in happiness.
After breaking her reverie for a moment, she realized that the Blaue Blume Tea House was just around the corner. If only this moment could last a bit longer...

"Heee! You're quite lovely to say that!" Peaches said cheerfully as she skipped a step. She was half tempted to twirl around like she was puddle skipping, but settled for a satisfied cat grin. "Not many people are willing to compliment a crazy lady like me. Then again not many people go out of their way to talk to me."
She noticed the Tea House ahead. Well, that was a quick walk wasn't it? Glancing down at the woman, she noticed a bit of a blush. Though that could have just been the color of her fur overlapping the white.... but her tail was wagging.
"Would you like to sit with me and have some tea? It's more fun with two people, and we might as well get to know each other a bit more since we seem to be getting along, right?" Her grin grew slightly wider with the finish of the question.

Now she was being called lovely? This put her over the edge with complete and utter joy. And the fact that she could spend more time with this incredible creature was perfect. She did want to get to know Peaches, and she also wanted Peaches to get to know her as well.
"I would be passing up a great opportunity if I didn't want to have tea with you. You're such a wonderful person, crazy or not. We are getting along quite well thus far. So, yes, I will join you for some tea at Blaue Blume so that we may get to know one another better."
She had a feeling this chance encounter was going to turn out to be much more than that by the end of the day. And what that something would be...well, only the future knew what was in store.
